IMHO what happened in china was a bunch of medicos got taken out by this thing first. then the medical system collapsed (locally) and the military had to take over.

HONG KONG: Over the past couple of weeks, Chinese citizen journalists Chen Qiushi and Fang Bin have served as the world’s eyes and ears inside the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak, the city of Wuhan.
Broadcasting via their mobile phones, they’ve offered a glimpse of how dire things have been. Many of those videos have been posted to Twitter and reposted on YouTube.
Now one of them is missing
I’m not surprised.
IMHO the chicom govt is still prioritizing dissenters and ‘leakers’. When they stop prosecuting those people we’ll know they’re serious about prosecuting disease control.
IMHO the chicom elites are holed up somewhere safe and using this as an opportunity to reduce mouths to feed and their political opponents at the same time.

Today, with a novel coronavirus spreading, health care facilities in mainland China and Hong Kong have been overwhelmed by a flood of patients and are facing shortages of direly needed space and supplies. The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health (DH) today (February 7) said that the CHP’s Port Health Division is continuing to carry out the health quarantine work on the World Dream cruise where some travellers from the Mainland were confirmed to have infected with the novel coronavirus.
Personnel of the Port Health Division is following up on the health assessment of the crew members and passengers. For the respiratory samples taken from crew members and passengers earlier, all of them were tested negative for novel coronavirus. Meanwhile, one crew member reported to have developed respiratory symptoms this afternoon. Sample has been collected for testing of novel coronavirus and the result is pending.
The CHP said that all passengers and crew members are required to stay on board prior to completion of the health quarantine work and permission by the DH.
The CHP also urged members of the public who took the cruise since January 19 to call the CHP’s hotline 2125 1122 which operates from 8am to midnight daily.
I didn’t catch it all but FNC just reported both American evacuee planes have one passenger with symptoms. One is detained somewhere. One is headed to a national guard station but did we ever hear of a NG being a quarantine area?
A summer’s reprieve of course could put us in a much better position to deal with it.

There’s a lot of lag time between evacuee flights. Must be each country is using one or two planes and they want to give the fumigation a few days to soak into the upholstery. Sort of invalidates the virus only lives a short time on dry surfaces.

Some food was in plastic containers but other food was self serve with everyone using the same serving spoons and everyone not gloved touching the pour button on the beverage cooler. Bet that zumba class isn’t so strenuous that people wouldn’t be mouth breathing hard and no sweat was slinging across to the people around you.

And I believe some are hoping it will spread here for that very reason
