Nicely done, as usual Potus is best when he follows his instincts and lets his true character be his guide. Honest and believable.

Also very nice job of praising the members of the House and others present, including his family and Cabinet. And with a personal anectdote or story about each, could not have been done any better. I don’t care who you are, everyone loves being singled out and recognized by the big boss in front of their peers. This day will yield benefits in days to come.

Thank you for posting this. I did too.

I think it’s a must watch for all of us, and I’m going to watch it when I get home tonight. I heard most of it on the radio.

Again, it’s non teleprompted.

He mentioned everyone, by name, who helped him.

Gives them all credit.

Says, “I’m lucky to have you people with me.”

Produces little vignettes for each of them, I’m sure making them feel special.

I can go all day reliving them here.

“If there was a remake of Perry Mason, John Ratcliffe, is from central casting.”

“The ball was hit Scalise at second. I couldn’t believe they put him out there. He had a range like two feet.”

“When I first met Jim Jordan, I didn’t know anything about him. I looked at his ears. I said, did you wrestle in college?”

“Lot’s of legislation. I see these votes 99 to 1. And I don’t even need to ask who the 1 is. It’s going to be Mike Lee.”

etc etc etc

Well put. He’s a really integrated the role as president well with his true nature. Exciting to see a man come full circle in one lifetime in so many ways. Lots to learn from here.

And, contrary to the meme, looked extraordinarily “presidential”, IMO.

Oh good!

I watched all of it but I must have been distracted when he talked about Doug Collins. I’m sorry I missed what he said.
I so enjoyed the personal comments he made about all those who were standing behind him and defending him.
