Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, told Fox News' Chris Wallace Wednesday in an exclusive interview that he "had to follow my conscience" in deciding to vote to convict President Trump on abuse of power, a decision that's likely to lead to serious blowback from Trump and others in the Republican Party.
"I believe that the act he took, an effort to corrupt an election is as destructive an attack on the oath of office and our Constitution as I can imagine," Romney said. "It is a high crime and misdemeanor within the meaning of the Constitution, and that is not a decision I take lightly. It is the last decision I want to take."

This isn’t just about “exposing” the Bidens; it’s about prosecuting them for bribery, foreign corrupt practices, and assorted other high crimes and misdemeanors. Indeed, PDJT would have violated his Constitutional duty to see that the laws be enforced if he hadn’t tried to have the Bidens investigated. The whole impeachment was a deliberate exercise in obstruction of justice by the DemonShits who were trying to prevent that very investigation. Romney, may he be cursed, became an accomplice in that crime and the whole DemonShit attempted coup. I’m ashamed of ever thinking he’d have been a good President.

I never did understand this guy. Seems like he’s not all there, somehow. This doesn’t surprise me. It shouldn’t be hard to mount an effective recall campaign in Utah.
actually the “trial” is essentially over this is “the jury” voting the convict or acquit stage.

When I joined FR, it was because I had left another site due to their support of Romney. I despised him way back in the 2008 Primaries, and I was not mistaken in my opinion of him.
And here we are 12 years later.

Romney’s “Mormon ISIS” probably wishes they could have had the roughly 280 pallets of arms and munitions “accidently” dropped 15-30 nautical miles off course from C-17’s, while HRC & “0’s” weapons smuggling was arriving from coastal Syria on Russian trucks from Libya.
Then Utah could been it’s own country, and Romney could have at least been king of Utah for a while...
