I knew he had run the Salt Lake City Olympics and had been governor of Massachusetts and that he was Morman. He had run in 2008 but lost to McCain which led to him winning the pub nom in 2012. I had supported McCain but of course we now look back with regret on that. Romney in 2012 was a bridge too far for me and if I had been able to vote I would have passed or voted 3rd party. 0 won both elections which were characterized here on this website as elections from hell. That assessment hasn’t changed.
