I don’t care. He wasn’t at the game. It’s this big myth that a person is required to drop whatever he’s doing and stand in some inanimate silent salute of the National Anthem no matter when its heard. If that was the case, the Russians and Chinese could easily defeat us in battle by simply blaring our Anthem nonstop!

This wasn’t at the game....why were they even standing? They play it on the radio everyday at noon.

My Dad fought in three wars and died in the third. I NEVER saw him stand for the national anthem at home. I did 25 years in the military, was sometimes shot at (badly), but I’ve never stood for the national anthem at home.

But I don’t watch football so I rarely hear the national anthem at home.
