Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid says he would agree to visit the White House to celebrate his teams Super Bowl victory if President Trump extends an invitation.
While speaking to reporters shortly after the Chiefs' victory on Sunday night, Reid said he hadnt even thought about the potential visit.
Ill be there. If theyre inviting us, Ill be there. Its quite an honor, I think, he said.

A class man all the way around. So glad to see him get a championship.

This is going to cause him to lose his membership card to “The Resistance”.
I just watched the halftime show on YouTube. Is it possible that a show like that appeals to the main TV and stadium audience of the NFL? At the viewing parties I attended, no one was watching the halftime show to enjoy Shakira and JLo. Am i just out of it?
Any head coach who counts his team out, particularly at half time with the score tied, should be fired.
I thought they were goners at halftime, based on their form up to that point.
Anyone who has watched the Chiefs this year know that they're never out. They are 5-0 in games where they've been down by double digits.
I never watch the halftime show.
Its time to stop inviting sports teams to the White House entirely.
Like many things, it was once an unquestioned commonality and point of agreement among all Americans that has disappeared, forever ruined by the Left.
The public debate over will he go? or will he protest? to meet the highest elected official in America is unseemly, embarrassing, and contributes unnecessarily to division and especially the power of the media.
F### them all.
Is English your first language? If I’d just won the SB,whether to go to the Whitehouse would be real close to the last thing on my mind.

Same here. I am old so I never pass up a good opportunity to go take a long schiff.
Yep - makes me even happier that Shanahan the pre-game whiner lost - after thinking he had it sewed up....
It was a lousy show. I muted in and visited my friend John E. Flusher to take care of some important business once I got the idea that it was going to be as tasteless as a performance I saw once upon a time in a go-go bar once when I was single. Without the dancing talent.
I’m so sick of my White House being used for sports parties!
Yes and it would have been all about why Kaepernick should be in the league etc.
It celebrates American excellence. I would like there to be more parties for people who excel and achieve in all fields. Beats using it to host dinners for corrupt corporate fat-cats and their bureaucratic whores.
After all those years in Philadelphia you’d think he would know better....
Quite an honor, indeed. Kudos to Andy and the Chiefs.
The half time show was awful.
You do something that 100 million Americans watch and maybe you will get invited.
