This is what has CNN panicked:

But there must also be questions about whether the Iowa mess is isolated — or augurs a party ill-equipped in the states to take on Trump’s formidable turnout machine, which is being built with his massive campaign war chest. And the importance of Iowa in the process of choosing a president magnifies the cost of its terrible night on Monday.

Do tell. Democrats couldn’t run a lemonade stand yet they can be trusted to run the country?

CNN’s bleating over the Democrat fiasco is music to my ears.

If BOTH party’s caucus results were in chaos, there would be little for Trump to gloat about, but the GOP caucus results came in promptly on time and accurately counted:

20202 Republican Cancus Results
Donald Trump...... 31,386, 97.1%
Bill Weld................... 422, 1.3%
Joe Walsh.................. 348, 1.1%
Other.......................... 151, 0.5%

Trump operatives are already spinning conspiracy theories and disinformation about what the Iowa Democratic Party said were "inconsistencies" in its results.

As well they should. You can't let opportunities like these go to waste. Just as when the media tried to ignore the "hacked" DNC emails, Trump was right to draw attention to them and the corruption they exposed. Infighting and division among the socialists, anarchists, feminists and communists is a good thing. Hell, look what they have done to divide conservatives. Let it burn.

The caucus nightmare also played right into the hands of a President spoiling for months to brand his rivals as weak, disorganized and even worse — plotting to rig the results to hand its crown to an establishment favorite. There’s little doubt that Trump, who consistently erodes distrust in institutions and governing systems, will weaponize such a narrative if it looks like he will lose in November.

Whoever said last night that President Trump would be blamed by morning was right.

The author is reading way too much into it. Truth is, Iowa’s importance is overblown. Their caucuses only became important in 1976 because an obscure peanut farmer from Georgia won it, and went on to get the nomination and the White House.

Results will be reported later today, and this debacle will start fading into the background within a couple days.

The Iowa caucus system is an absolute fuster cluck. No Secret Ballot!?!? And we allow this state’s Schitt authority to be the first “vote” of the presidential primary? REALLY? Iowa failed BIGLY tonight, shame on them, and shame on the national RNC and DNC to sanction this BS. Iowa with their extremely flawed caucus should NOT be the first flawed state to “vote”.

And our current presidential primary system voting is FUBAR. By the time my state holds the vote, a handful of states have already picked a “front runner”, virtually voiding every other vote of the majority of states afterwards. (rant/)
