Sen. Joni Ernst said Monday that she was only speaking “hypothetically” when she suggested over the weekend that former vice president Joe Biden could be impeached if he was elected over supposed misconduct in Ukraine.
“It wasn’t directed specifically at him. But just a hypothetical. I think we have to be judicious as members of Congress, especially when it comes to something so important,” the Iowa Republican told reporters outside the Senate chamber.
Ernst offered her clarification during a break from closing arguments in President Trump’s impeachment trial, which was sparked by Trump asking Ukraine to investigate Biden and his son Hunter.

It should be a promise, if by some strange quirk of fate that Biden manages to muddle and fumble his way to the White House that he will be impeached as soon as he’s sworn in.
But, don’t worry, Biden stands as much chance of being elected as Irish Bob does.

What’s hypothetical about it? Precedent is now set. And Joey provided us more evidence of the impeachable offence than they had on Trump for the EXACT same issue. Biden bragged about it on video and tape. We should demand that Trump release the transcript of THAT conversation between Biden and the Ukraine President.
This is why the GOP is idiotic. They just can’t help stepping in it.

The plan for Republicans should be:
Impeach Joe Biden (or whoever the next dem president is), then get a GUILTY verdict in the Senate.
Then have a solemn procession of House Managers and Senators and Police that march to the White House and ceremoniously remove Joe Biden from it.
If that is NOT in the works of the RNC then they are NOT playing this game correctly.
