And in your case, be aware that your condition will influence insurance decisions on getting that gene test for other family members and yourself.

How DARE you tell me what to be aware of. How dense are you?

I've read the whole thread now and see you are the Dark Blanket of Doom AND you know everything. I think it's best if you no longer post to me, and I will no longer post to you. It is as a worm...

I told you because you may not be aware of the parameters to get the free gene test. Your case helps you and your family get the free test if you want it. they make you jump through hoops. If you don’t have ovarian cancer in the family you have to jump through more hoops.

No reason for you to be insulted.

Your family might want to be tested

Myriad charges over $6000 for the test

and btw, not everyone wants to be tested for the gene cancer tests for a variety of reasons...one of which is they just dont want to know

HOWEVER, if your family does want to be tested they will have to jump through hoops to get it for free.

and THAT is what I was trying to tell you.
