I told you because you may not be aware of the parameters to get the free gene test. Your case helps you and your family get the free test if you want it. they make you jump through hoops. If you don’t have ovarian cancer in the family you have to jump through more hoops.
No reason for you to be insulted.

and btw, not everyone wants to be tested for the gene cancer tests for a variety of reasons...one of which is they just dont want to know
HOWEVER, if your family does want to be tested they will have to jump through hoops to get it for free.

And for those of you interested in the cancer gene test..believe it or not..and yes this is hard to believe..but just having breast cancer is not enough to get you the free gene test. You have to meet other parameters.
My insurance company follows a certain standard. Don’t remember what it is called. I had to point out to them that their interpretation of those parameters was incorrect and that I did, indeed, qualify for the free test. they tried to deny it a couple of times based on a couple of different reasons.

I won the appeal.
Get it approved before you do the test and you won’t run into those kinds of problems

I’m posting this here so someone can get the info to Rush. I was thinking about Rush’s announcement last night and the thought of the recent article about the UK doctors with their supposed breakthrough on fighting cancer.
With Rush’s millions, I’m wondering if he can work with them as a lovable little fuzzball guinea pig and have some great results.
I’ll look for the article and send to Rush’s public email but if someone knows him - send him the info.
I am a cancer survivor myself. I can attest that getting the C diagnosis is a blow you feel deep within.
It is truly hard to “work” due to what the treatments do to your body.
Please notice the multiple question Mark’s I deliberately added to my vanity.
To me, from experience, putting on a brave face is truly a good move, but the treatment is brutalizing.
Rush needs to name his successor IMHO.
