Last Saturday night, CNN’s Don Lemon and his panel laughed uproariously at their portrayal of Donald Trump supporters as uneducated idiots.
“‘Donald Trump’s the smart one, and y’all, y’all elitists are dumb!'” Trump-hating Rick Wilson bellowed in a southern accent, pretending to be a typical Trump voter. Wilson also referred to the president’s base as a “credulous boomer rube demo.”
The laughs were endless. They were really into it. The two panelists lampooned pathetic Trump voters and Lemon belly-laughed, doubled over from all the hilarity.
Later in the week, apparently as a result of some blowback the viral clip caused, Lemon addressed his audience to clear the air. It was supposed to be an act of contrition. It turned out to be something very different.

These are people who know exactly how the people of Lowell, Fitchburg and Dorchester should live and they’ll talk about it as they carry four-packs of craft beer into Brooklyn loft parties.
Of course, they wouldn’t be caught dead in Lowell, Fitchburg, Dorchester or much of flyover country, but as far as they’re concerned, nobody lives there anyway.
Lemon is queer. They have to think themselves superior in an effort to deny their miserable depravity. He is no different than the preening Shepherd Smith.

The idiots never learn. All the Republicans need to do is air these clips over and over again as they Donkeys show their deep seated hatred for regular Americans.
So did Donnie laugh his ass off when the first AIDS patient was diagnosed and 400,000+ were already HIV positive?
Does he laff realizing there’s as many infected humans as there are Trump voters ?

The elites hate anyone that are outside of their bubble. That includes the underlings who work directly for them.

As for me, I can find the Ukraine on an unlabeled map, and even closely mark where Kiev and Sevastopol are - all just off the top of my head.

That’s why they need to believe in the “Russian interference” fairy tale so badly.
It’s like the big guy in school who gets his *** kicked by the shrimpy new kid, he has to keep saying “he didn’t fight fair!”
It’s a testament to a prosperous (and, unfortunately, decadent) society that a soft, foppish, self-absorbed aristocracy can form at all, much less maintain itself on surplus created by other people whom they can afford to hold in contempt. Lemon and his friends had best hope the fall is a soft one - so far only one lost election - instead of a hard one containing a public square with a busy guillotine.
