Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst said Republicans would waste no time trying to impeach Joe Biden if he wins the White House.
“I think this door of impeachable whatever has been opened,” Ernst toldBloomberg News on Sunday. “Joe Biden should be very careful what he’s asking for because, you know, we can have a situation where if it should ever be President Biden, that immediately, people, right the day after he would be elected would be saying, ‘Well, we’re going to impeach him.’”
Ernst, 49, said Biden, 77, would be impeached “for being assigned to take on Ukrainian corruption yet turning a blind eye to Burisma because his son was on the board making over a million dollars a year.”

why not? Now that impeachment is a purely political act with no need for actual crimes to have been committed, there are no further impediments.

So that's it. I was seeing that Hillary wanted to run for VP & it made little sense. Your theory fits Hillary's ego nicely.
But then reality kicks in and Joe won't get elected or impeached. Like Mike Tyson said, everybody's got plans until they get hit (smartest thing he ever said).
It would have to be in 2023 cause Biden winning but a GOP House is 0% proposition.

Nixon was never impeached but he was guilty as charged.
What started this was not Nixon but it was started with the Carter administration and the establishment of the Independent Counsel. Something that is not in the Constitution. After the Clinton impeachment, this legislation was allowed to expire. Until Carter, there was not an Independent Council Investigative body. Nixon was investigated by the DOJ not an independent counsel.

I for one, will DEMAND that every D President from this day forward be Impeached from the day they are sworn in.
Any R who resists 100% immediate D Impeachment from this point forward will have me actively working against them and donating to and working for their Primary opponent.
It has to be done now as a matter of course. I actually disagree with Trump that this should never again happen to another President. On the contrary, it must DEFINITELY happen in every instance from now on, warranted or not.
This outrage cannot stand. It must be answered in kind.

Is there a statute of limitations on corruption? If he’s guilty of high crimes as VP then he needs to be charged. We shouldn’t have to wait until he becomes POTUS. That said, if he’s not charged and becomes POTUS then why not follow the standard the D’s have set? It doesn’t matter if it is a sham, do it anyway.
I doubt it - another ‘will of the people” deal - of course, it doesn’t stop Dems...I guess they could accuse him of it and then get him for perjury when he denies it...
