Paul Ryan is moving his family to the city he was always giddy to leave.
The former speaker of the House and onetime GOP vice presidential nominee is leaving his longtime home of Janesville, Wis., and will rent a house in the Maryland suburbs of Washington.
"Now in the private sector, Paul and his family are temporarily renting a house in Maryland, and hell be spending time there as well as their family home in Janesville," a Ryan aide told POLITICO.

A law that forbids anyone who worked for the federal government from working or receiving monies from companies receiving contracts or monies from taxpayers. No investing in ANY stocks or bonds as long as they serve in Congress. I just fixed DC, the thieves will flee the Capitol.

Good grief. Come on OP, that is just lazy.
I know it is not fresh news. However, the article was not posted on FR. It is also from Politico, which is not usually allowed to be posted on FR, because it normally is a democrat propaganda site.
I was wondering what Ryano was up to, and the old article answered my question. The reason for my inquiry, is that I was wondering what his reward was for betraying his country. The article somewhat answered my question.
It is extremely important we keep an eye on former members of Congress, and watch for all evidence off corruption. We cannot continue to accept business as usual.

And...?
And is a conjunction. To be understood, it needs a couple of words of phrases before and after, to join together into a intelligible sentence.

Gotta be where he feels most at home. What other local would a deep stater choose if not THE SWAMP
Don't imagine he'd have too many friends back in his home state. I don't begrudge him the right to live wherever he likes, just that the job opportunity seems suspicious, and his ability to afford DC housing might be suspect. Don't have any idea what Speaker of the House makes; presume it's more than Senator.

I was hoping that he was moving to WASHINGTON STATE. He would feel more PC happy there and would do less harm to America.

I should have peed on his shoes when I had the chance to do it.
You missed your chance.
I find it deeply disturbing that he works for Fox News Corp. as a compensation specialist on their board. What kind of expertise does he bring to this position? It this job only open to swamp congress critters? Is this some kind of political payoff or influence peddling? Could he not have found gainful employment in his beloved home state of Wisconsin?
Boy, did Paul Ryan ever have a tin ear to the mood of conservative America. Or, did the lure of insider riches over power his will to represent the people?

Compensation Specialist? I used to work in HR, did he? I can hardly believe he has any experience with being a Comp. Specialist.

It seems like someone who has business experience who has worked in hr as a compensation specialist would have been far more qualified as a board member. This job seems like a political reward.
The irony of his is that I would expect that its compensation is way out of line for the experience/hours worked etc. Maybe somewhat in the order of Michele Obama's sitting on the board of the Chicago hospital.

I kept hoping Ryan would say something like, "Joe, are you choking? Are you OK? Are you allergic? Is it something you ate? Or something your drank? You are making all kind of weird snorting noises.
Or could it be you are just being incredibly rude? If so I "respectfully" ask that you stop doing that juvenile nonsense.
If Ryan did that, he would have had to pay back the cash payoff he got to throw the 'debate' to Biden. /s

"...he works for Fox News Corp. as a compensation specialist on their board." On further thought... "Compensation", in this case, is the fancy term for the bribes that Congressman have to accept, hand out, or hide & spend...
This scum probably has just the right experience for the job, IMHO...

Thats what it was all about when he was Speaker; seeing himself up for a very cushy retirement, financed by his cheap labor Chamber of Commerce masters.Yeah, that's so unlike every other congressional leader ever.
