Iowa Caucuses: ‘We Voted for Obama, Then Trump’

In 2016, more than 200 counties flipped from supporting President Barack Obama in 2012 to backing Trump in the 2016 election. Iowa is home to 31 of the counties. But none compare to Howard County in Northern Iowa - it was the single largest pivot county in the country, flipping by 41 percentage points.

Yeah, I get why Bernie Bros would push that meme, but not why anyone here would.

Hillary Clinton:

• Won the national popular vote by a double-digit percentage (55.2% to 43.1%)
• Won every big state (CA, TX, FL, NY, IL, etc.) and all by large margins
• The biggest state Sanders won was Michigan (tenth-biggest state by population), and he only squeaked out a very narrow margin of victory there (0.23%), so it didn't matter too much because Democrats hand out their delegates proportionately in every state.
• Clinton won 34 contests vs. Sanders's 23
• Most of Sanders's victories were dinky little caucuses, like he won North Dakota with all of 252 votes

Clinton beat Sanders, no she clobbered him, and it wasn't even close. Ignore the delegates/super delegates for a minute and just look at the actual voting results... in what way, shape or form did Bernie Sanders deserve to be the winner?

Clinton was dirty, and she used her power and the DNC’s weakness to effectively take over significant control of the DNC’s finances and fundraising. She also had her surrogates in key positions. This is particularly unacceptable during a primary. Add in Brazile giving her debate questions, and Bernie supporters assume that all the debates were rigged, including the town halls with Hillary shills. They also assume there is much more that was never revealed. The Super Delegate fiasco was icing in the cake. Then, the new DNC chair Brazile saying “I investigated whether Hillary Clinton’s team had rigged the nomination process through the DNC ... and discovered evidence that they did ... I had found my proof and it broke my heart.”

He wasn’t screwed over because he was in on it.

He ran his campaign and agreed to give his supporters over to Hillary in exchange for a beach house, news coverage, national stage debates, and I believe even a private jet for few months. Amazing thing about commies, they are easily bought off.

If Bernie was truly screwed over, he would have told his supporters at the convention to “Bern this place down” and Philly would have been in all riots with democrats beating down democrats. It would have been golden. But it didn’t happen. Instead the campaign, with Bernie’s support, kicked out the Bernie supporters on the 2nd day forward at the convention and hired “seat fillers” to take their place to keep the place looking “full”.

I wonder if the Bernie fanatics remember that trick?

The DNC began releasing moneys to and coordinating with the Clinton campaign long before she had won the nomination. Further, Brazile, working on behalf of the DNC, has admitted she was giving debate questions to the Clinton campaign ahead of debates with Sanders.
