Its number of stores not amount sold
Jimmy John’s is worlds better than Subway, faster service and so much tastier.
Also known as 'spread too thin'...
Can’t believe Subway is so high. Lots of people don’t go there because there’s no drive thru.
Their lettuce tastes and smells like clorox. No thanks.
It was surprisingly good.
I used to go there, but I am not paying ten bucks for a foot-long roast beef. F that.
Where are all those Pizza Huts?
No, Subway’s as canned as it gets. Like most such places, they started out decent, until they started using quasi meat and got the bun to meat ratio way off.
Starbucks is an absolute RIP off. But people love that place. I never understood the love. I’d rather spend my hard earned money on perfume & get a local coffee that’s made with love & costs much less.
Jimmy John’s Subs are way better. Higher quality meats for instance. I like the UnWich breadless turkey and veggie sub (can’t eat bread). They wrap it in large lettuce leaves. Very low carb sandwich.
Babysat for the grandchildren last night and they wanted pizza. They ordered from pizza Hut. Two small 8 piece pizzas, one topping, 6 breadsticks, and 6 chicken wings for a total of $32.00. Pizza had almost no sauce and was undercooked. Chicken wings were rubbery and the breadsticks must have been pieces of old leftover pizza dough. Horrible
That Pizza Hut deal is about $20 in Des Moines.
Macdonalds is no surprise, they are all over the world. But Subway? Im betting most of their shops are domestic, I see them everywhere. Overly saturated.
“.....Taco Bell will never win the franchise wars at this rate.”
According to this graph, it is misleading as to who is the biggest. According to Nation Restaurant News, the top 10 in sales for the start of 2019 in the US only were:
MacDonald’s @ $37.6 B
Burger King @ $9.6 B
Wendy’s @ $9.3 B
Sonic’s @ $4.4 B
Dairy Queen @$3.6 B
Jack in the Box @ $3.5 B
Whataburger (Texas only) @ $2.3 B
Hardee’s @ $2.2 B with it’s sister restaurant
Carl/s Jr. @ $1.5 B
Five Guys @ $1.4 B
For making money, I think only three of the top ten on the graph were on this list. A little misleading I think. Probably a lot of them see the same problem as Taco Bell. But didn’t you see the Demolition Man that was set for 2032? Taco Bell was the only restaurant that made it to the future. And if you eat there all the time, “Oh what a relief, what a relief it is.”

Thanks.
That sounds rough. But has there ever been more than one Hut in one town? Where are all those restaurants?
All that meat on the board and they take a pic of someone eating a bowl of lettuce?
