Joe Biden may have just received the worst news of his campaign, as a new poll shows his support in his firewall state of South Carolina collapsing along with his once dominant support among black voters, with Sen. Berine Sanders and Tom Steyer closing the gap.

While the poll shows Biden still in the lead, he's at just 25%, with Sanders at 20%, and Steyer (who has carpet bombed the state with TV ads) at 18%. Biden once led in the poll by as high as 31 points.

Didn’t something like that happen in 1968, where Hubert Humphrey emerged as the nominee, pushed forward by the political bosses of that era?
In this case, would there be resentment because Hillary didn’t even run in primaries, didn’t go through that process?
And in 1968, weren’t there a strong radical presence there who were upset at Humphrey being the candidate? 68 was a bit before my time, so don’t recall the events.
Of course the roots in the streets in Chicago in 68 got a lot of bad headlines for the Democrats as well.

Also, by having Bernie be the candidate only to be schlonged, it not only takes him out of future elections, it also takes out Hillary, Warren and Biden. They will all be too old to run again in 2024. That clears the way for the new crowd.
I also think that if he gets the nomination, the democrat party will do what they can to undermine him. After all, if Bernie does what he claims, it will destroy their gravy train much more than Trump ever could. Take Venezuela for example.

My thought is this: Hillary hasn't gotten any healthier in the last three years. She simple doesn't have the physical stamina to go through the rigors of the primaries process. A brokered convention could then coronate her as the democratic nominee. After that, drugs, alcohol and a compliant and cheer leading MSM can keep her going through the 3 1/2 months of campaigning between mid-July and early November.
For So. Carolina at least, Steyer is literally the worst candidate imaginable. If he can buy 18% of that state’s vote, we should all be imagining Bloomberg as the eventual nominee. He’s deliberately staying below the radar for now. But he will suck in Biden voters as they become up for grabs.
The Dems will NOT nominate Bernie Sanders.

During the debates, everyone should get a height box to stand on that self identifies their height choice and everyone should be in make up that shows the skin color they also identify with.
