A new Rasmussen poll shows black voter support for President Trump has doubled in the last year to an astonishing 42%.
In November, polls by both Rasmussen and Emerson showed Trump had a remarkable 34% approval rating among black voters, compared to the 8% he received from blacks in the 2016 election.
An analysis by the Washington Examiner in November showed the dramatic rise in support by blacks could make the difference in the 2020 election.

Publicly, of course. Get them away from other black people and you might hear something different. There's a lot of pressure amongst black people to 'toe the line'.
That’s hysterical!!!
Sadly, that’s not the case. Even in one on one conversations with me, they are not shy about their disdain for him.
Yup.
But if President Trump manages to get one third of that (14%) to vote for him, he is home dry. Last time it was 8%
If its really 20% it is GAME OVER!!!
Now THAT seems accurate.
Women at work say he be trying to take away their SNAP!!
daaaaaaaamnn boo! He be fronting and stunting like he’s all that but he a fool!!
And it was 8 percent because of black men.
Black women went for him 4 percent.
BUT the blacks staying home is something to consider too.
I still would assert that they wouldn’t tell another co-worker privately out of fear that word would still get out.
Perhaps, but it’s not hard to tell when someone is being sincere.
Worst Racist, ever!
That said, it's the black men who like and admire Trump. They admire someone who not only takes on the Pigs, but trounces them thoroughly. The only Democrat candidate that could keep black support for Republicans at single digits, is Joe Biden. That said, what will happen is that many African-Americans will stay at home and vote by not voting.
Isn’t Kanye a Trump supporter?
Yes he is.
Your post doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. And I am black. I am ready to debate you on the points you made if you want.
Looks to me like some Black families have been holding some fireside chats.
That’s very good.
Trump got about 8% of black votes in 2016. Even if the approval number of 42% is accurate, I don’t expect it to translate into a major change in voting patterns, but I do expect a modest change consisting of two things: in 2020 Trump will get maybe 10% to 12% black votes AND the overall black voter turnout will be slightly lower. This change won’t have much of an impact on the presidential election, as Trump will comfortably take the electoral college with or without the change, but it will probably tip a few congressional seats to the red.
