Republicans in the Senate secured enough votes Friday evening to reject Democratic efforts to extend the Trump impeachment trial and call new witnesses, as the final vote on whether or not to remove President Trump from office could drag into next week.

I tried to call the Leader McConnell’s office; his mailbox was full! Hope EVERY message was “End it, and end it now!”
HST, I was able to send an email to that effect to him.
Hope he has a Staffer who is paying attention tonight!

Any new charges would have to presented to the House, and be acted upon there.
If they are not in the articles before the Senate, they’re dead in this proceeding.
