"...BECAUSE the people were able to clean up the outside venue, but were prohibited from cleaning up the parking lot..."

Great posts. It is unfortunate many FReepers are having a difficult time grasping the layers upon layers of security that were in effect at the venue.

Collecting equipment, gear, tents, blankets, yoga mats, food, and even garbage was strictly prohibited.
A plan for rallies is likely to bring a big box of heavy plastic garbage bags, pass them out, and encourage decent folks to use them.

My goodness...and FReepers should not take the bait of Fake News by badmouthing fellow patriots!

Exactly right. The attendees left an uncharacteristic mess for reasons that the opportunistic media didn’t explain. The pattern for years has been that — unlike leftists — conservatives clean up after themselves. In this case there were circumstances that made that difficult or impossible. I consider this mystery solved and conservatives’ reputation for conscientiousness intact.

Good idea.

The Wildwood mayor (D) already was complaining about the rally before it started, and he wasn't invited to it. So, of course, he ran to the media to complain about trash (that was cleaned up soon afterward).
