Was this a remark by a CNN commentator, or a floor speech by Sen. John Avlon (D-NY)? You'd be forgiven for being confused. On CNN's New Day this morning, "senior political commentator" Avlon engaged in some hysterical hyperbole. He implied that the "republic" would literally be lost if Senator Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) voted against allowing witnesses in the impeachment trial. [snip]
"No. And so I think a lot is going to be determined by Lamar Alexander. Sort of, you know, will the headline be, Lamar Alexander saves the republic, or saves the Republican party?"

Lamar you have a choice side with the scumbags at CNN or the people who made you Senator.
I was going to comment on that myself.
WORTHLESS,WORTHLESS,WORTHLESS Swampers!
So in other words, if Alexander doesn’t kiss some heavy duty ‘RAT @$$, the “end” will occur in 12 years unless da enviomen doesn’t get us first? More fake news from CNN.
Wasn’t Alexander running for President at one time? If I remember correctly he was the one who said that a flat tax was just a “Nutty Idea”
Yep he’s the nut case alright.
IIRC, he was a “sort of” reliable Conservative but he went squishy after he got thrown out of the ‘96 Primary.
Establishment bought him out, I reckon.
We dont fear witnesses, CNN dumbass. It wont change a thing. Itll just drag this sh**show out forever. And in the end, Donald Trump will still be president.
