What fries my butt is that flights are are being cancelled in TO China, yet Chinese people are flying IN to the US and waltzing through half-assed, 30-second-long, “medical screenings”. Then they disperse all over the country. What’s wrong with this picture?
I think Trump should have cancelled all inbound flights from China and nearby countries two weeks ago. Ridiculous.

This virus goes after the ACE2 receptor, but especially in certain cells with highly expressed viral pathway related genes.
You know, like the joke about how a thermos keeps hot things hot and cold things cold -- "How does it *know*?"
But it gets better. (The only issue is a small sample size, 8 individuals).
They found that 2 male donors have a higher ACE2-expressing cell ratio than all other 6 female donors (1.66% vs. 0.41% of all cells, P value=0.07) and that the only Asian donor (male) has a much higher ACE2-expressing cell ratio than white and African American donors (2.50% vs. 0.47% of all cells) --
{note that's too small a sample to assign a p-value}.
Long and short, this thing looks like it was made to cause ARD in Asian males.
Now look at the hospitalization rates (stable/serious/critical) and mortality, in China and out. The only other thing I can think of that would affect this is time of progression, and for that we'll have to wait a week or to and do longitudinal tracing of individuals, not averages over all infected by country.
So if in two weeks, we see this only takes out Asian / Chinese males, or predominantly so (remember the Toronto case, was it, they guy is a lot sicker than the wife?...
that spells bioengineering.
Question would become, did the West launch this?

I think the president is doing exactly the right thing. At this time I don’t see major panic among the citizenry (in fact people are joking about it and creating memes) and I believe it’s because the leader of our nation is not running around like his hair is on fire. I trust him to respond at the right time when it is necessary and not allow blame to be assigned to him if not warranted.

Since you have been somewhat of a naysayer oh, I challenge you to do the heavy lifting and dig and do the due diligence to find out what you can about any antidote. Hopefully it exists.
