U. Of Missouri requires a location tracking app now.....
Well are they demanding or are they asking?
Lol. Reminds me of my college days.
It means that students who party instead of attending classes have decided to try a new excuse en Mass in hope that their parents won’t turn off the money at the end of the semester.
What in the world is a sugar baby?
How a guarantee in writing?
A note from you mother?..............
Dear Mr. Kotter,
Please excuse Epstein’s absence this morning.
Epstein didn’t kill himself.
Signed,
Epstein’s Mother
Do you think they’re smart enough not to vape Clorox in an effort to sanitize their lungs?
OK.
Everyone gets a trophy!!!
“I’m staying in my room until it is over”
“Quarter draft at the Wonhu Chinese Restaurant”
“I’ll get my coat”.
Now I generally like most of the Chinese I’ve met - granted that most are well educated. But even a few of those can be astonishingly bull-headed when it comes to risk. (That’s true of most any culture.)
A humorous true story illustrates this:
Some years back, @ Thanksgiving we visited a Chinese-American family in Memphis - good friends of my Mom. The husband / father had driven back from near NYC, straight through, no stops except for gas. When I asked how long it took, the answer (I don’t recall exactly) seemed too short. He then related he’d gone 90 mph anytime he was on an Interstate Hwy. Well, that explained it. I was rather taken aback. (This was when almost all interstates in the Eastern & Midwest US were at most 65 mph speed limit on open stretches.)
The next part of the conversation was unforgettable:
“Were you using a radar detector?”
“No. Just drive.”
“Weren’t you afraid you’d get a speeding ticket?”
“No.” (brief pause, slight smile) “Just drive!”
Now that’s funny because it’s so true. (Except that it’s “Wuhan”...)
“Contagion 2011” is available from Netflix through their home rental outlet. I just checked. “Contagion 2002” is not available.
The 2011 version is a really good movie. Many parallels.
I wonder if someone could engineer a virus that only targeted college students.
IOW, it’s ok for deadly diseases to come points south of the border but just not from China. That’s racist.
Students who marry older wealthy lonely folks.
Basically a prostitute who advertises online. The other half of a sugar daddy (not the candy bar).
