On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Rachel Maddow Show,” House Impeachment Manager and House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) stated that President Trump’s impeachment defense team “basically has admitted” that President Trump engaged in corrupt behavior, “tried to cheat” in the 2020 election, and “used the money to coerce or extort the leader of Ukraine into doing his political dirty work.”
Schiff said, “[T]he president’s team basically has admitted that Donald Trump acted corruptly, withheld this money, tried to cheat in the next election, used the money to coerce or extort the leader of Ukraine into doing his political dirty work. And so, all we can fall back on now is, so what? The Constitution doesn’t allow us to do anything about it.”

Their standards for ‘corruptly’ could be applied to 80%+ of DC politicians, particularly those who have been their for a significant amount of time.
We are not talking about real and legal corruption here, like accepting board positions for connections and influence. That kind of corruption is measurable and evidential.
What he is talking about is diplomatic and geopolitical negotiation, which very often blurs lines between state goals and strategies and party goals and strategies, ALL THE TIME, and has no personal financial gain to be made; IE: real corruption
Every time Schiff opens his mouth it is for his primary audience: The low information voters that just assume that if he says it, it is true. Their numbers are shrinking, though.
