I watched an interview with Steve Bannon.
I found it interesting when he spoke about the early origins of Breitbart.com which included himself, Larry Schweikert, Steven Miller, and Jeff Sessions.

Sessions was not a junior senator.
He has been and part of the Washington insiders for a very very long time.
He knew exactly what was what and who what who.
He didn’t step into unknown waters. He wanted that job.
Sessions knew he was going to excuse himself on day one.
And didn’t say a word about it to President Trump.

The Republican party was split Three ways against Doug Jones. The split was Luther Strange, Roy Moore, and Mo Brooks. It was an off year election with national money coming in. NO matter who wins the primaries if the Republican party unifies around them, Doug Jones will not be reelected. The Donald Trump coat tails will carry them through.

I know you got a point. But I still blame him for at least not telling President Trump his plan to recuse himself. So the President could appoint someone who could do the job.
That alone is enough to make me question him seriously.
To me is a like a Romney paradox when voting.
