A Florida man who repeatedly harassed parents of shooting victims at Sandy Hook Elementary School has been arrested for possessing the identification of one of the parents, authorities said.
Wolfgang Halbig, 73, was arrested Monday on a charge that he was in unlawful possession of another person’s identification, according to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
Halbig was a guest on the radio show of conspiracy theorist Alex Jones. He’s been sued by the Sandy Hook families for defamation for falsely claiming that the massacre never happened. The 2012 mass shooting left 20 first graders and six adults dead at the elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut.
The Orlando Sentinel reports that Halbig repeatedly emailed several people and law enforcement agencies the Social Security number, birth date and other information of Leonard Pozner, whose 6-year-old son, Noah, died at Sandy Hook.

This nonsense moved Alex Jones from the “kook but sometimes right” category into the “scumbag and never to be believed” category. To hell with them both.
He was always in the second category.
Tell me about it, I can’t even imagine what these families have gone through and this isn’t the only guy, there was another who was caught on video verbally harassing parents

Why would he send that information to law enforcement?
And is it illegal possess that information on somebody if you aren’t using it to steal goods or services?
Please. Disbelieving the scene of a mass murder isn't simple KooKery, it is insanity.
Is this the latest straw they’re grasping at now that the “FBI reported no murders in Sandy Hook” nonsense was shown to be a lie?
It might not be illegal to possess, but it is certainly illegal to distribute it without their permission.
That video should be replayed over and over.
But careful, I got about a month in the penalty box for talking about Sandy H**x.

I doubt you've done as much research on this as I have. In contrast, I do believe the mass murder at Waco was REAL.
Not every data anomaly is a grand conspiracy. Do you really think that every home in the entire city of 27,000 was sold by the feds on Christmas, 2009? Why not just a couple dozen? What happened to the residents of Newtown before 27,000 fake people moved in? Did the city not exist before 2009? Why, then, is it in my atlas?
Better theory: They switched to on-line record keeping and chose Christmas as a day when no-one would be using their computer system. Some sloppy programmer allowed every record uploaded to be processed as a “sale.”
More plausible “conspiracies”:
1. Shooter was known to be dangerous, but no-one did anything about him because why bother? Any spree shooting would help their cause.
2. Sandy Hook students and teachers (and students and teachers across America, by the way) were taught disastrously bad and absurd ways to respond to a shooter.
