My gut says...that no matter what they are saying, the Dems do NOT want witnesses. And if it looks like it's going to happen, designated Dems will jump in to stop it.

The Dems know damn well that we would call the whistle blower.....who is NOT entitled to anonymity under "special circumstances....and I'd say this is special....really, really special.

In the meantime, I'm betting the wb has been paid (Bloomberg)....and threatened at the same time.
