Former Florida attorney general Pam Bondi made the White House’s case to the Senate on Monday afternoon that President Donald Trump had good reason to ask Ukraine to investigate the conflict of interest involving former Vice President Joe Biden; his son Hunter Biden; and the corrupt Ukraine gas company, Burisma.
Using clips of testimony from Democrats’ own witnesses, and reports from the mainstream media — including an ABC News interview with Hunter Biden — Bondi argued that Hunter Biden was paid handsomely for little reason other than that he was the vice president’s son. The company was under investigation at the time — and Vice President Biden later famously insisted the prosecutor be fired.

I enjoyed Bondi today, but I really loved watching Dershowitz. What a teacher! He explained things so well! I have not always agreed with him, but I really felt like I was being educated by him today, and I thank him.
No one not even our party mentions Atkinson as being a required witness.
OH MAN! Tell me about it. The defense will have rested and all that will be left is the destruction of this circus show.
And Trump will help that along post haste.

I just watched her 30 minute talk. FANTASTIC!! No bombast. No histrionics. No flimflammery. She clearly and methodically lays out all the (somewhat circumstantial) evidence, but the case is SO CLEAR that all the Bidens were incredibly corrupt and Trump was just asking Ukraine to look into the corruption. I LOVE the way she constantly quotes the Obama State Department, the NYT, ABC, NBC, the Washington Post expressing concern about the “apparent conflict of interest” and the corruption.

Dershowitz was OUTSTANDING!
They were obviously waiting for their day in court...and that was today. If they had been defending themselves against every little thing brought up every day for months, it would not have been effective. They chose to keep their powder dry until the day they would blast their first volley at the enemy.
I think it was a very wise choice to do it in the official “court” of the impeachment - the Senate floor.

Bondi said that Hunter Biden was UNEMPLOYED from April 2019 (when he left the Burisma Board) to November 2019, which (I’m guessing) is when he told the judge in his paternity suit he was unemployed.
That means that Burisma was his SOLE source of income — $83,000 per month of corrupt money flowing from US foreign aid to his pockets.
I’ll bet he and his daddy are wishing they’d quietly agreed to pay child support to his baby mama when the suit was filed instead of dragging it out.
Not only Biden’s words against him, but the words of NYT, WaPo, ABC, NBC, etc, etc.
She did great.

He blew me away. Truly. I gained respect for him (and for lawyers in general) after watching him.
Truthfully, I have been very impressed with each one speaking on behalf of President Trump.
