I don’t know what polling Collins is seeing in Maine. To me her public hand wringing over witnesses doesn’t make her look principled, but indecisive and weak.

It is very doubtful that the publishers have even seen the contents of Bolton’s book. Even sending the manuscript to the publishers before it has been vetted for classified and privileged contents would be criminally actionable for Bolton, because that would be placing those contents in the hands of people NOT cleared to see those data.

The book was sold, most likely on a barebones outline to the publisher and Bolton’s name and position, not on a manuscript.

My Dad had a high security clearance and had the guidelines on ANYTHING he wanted to publish, even fiction.

The leak, if there really is one, came from the NSC vetting process people, most likely Lt.Col Yevgeny Vindman, Alexander Vindman’s twin brother who is in charge of vetting such manuscripts. Talk about conflicts of interest!

Only after that vetting for classified processing is completed and the DOJ has had their time with it for privilege editing can it be sent to the publisher for printing. Something STINKS here. I cannot see how the President was blindsided by this unless it was deliberately done by people in the NSC who elected not to pass the information up the chain of command.

If they still want to use Bolton and possibly others after listening to Dershowitz last night, they will be as coherent as the Maxine Waters pic/quotes Dershowitz used to display utter lawlessness and disregard to the Constitution...he said if every word Bolton said is true, it adds nothing to the null and void, unconstitutional articles that already need to be tossed...
