Gee everything would be just peachy if we could all just move to the big city and all be as snug as a “bug” together.

I am prepared for quarantine 90 days here also.

Just keeping extra food around would be good because you would not need to visit the grocery store.

Everybody should always keep your shelves full, you never know when bad weather might mess things up.

Not this country boy, every horror plague movie or disaster movie always happens in the city.

I live in a small town and have zero tolerance for the big cities.

That SARS death rate was 17%.

Just so you know:

China’s coronavirus has ‘the same death rate as Spanish flu
https://news.yahoo.com/chinas-coronavirus-has-the-same-death-rate-as-the-spanish-flu-pandemic-that-killed-50-m-people-151608803.html
5 days agoBased on existing data, it is said to have a 2% death rate. This means that for every 50 people who catch the infection, one will statistically die. To put this into context, around one in every 1,000 who develop flu die, giving it a death rate of 0.1%.

There are people who died without having had a fever, though they were contagious.

It is likely much worse, because they wouldn’t have shut down a city of 18 million during a major holiday if it wasn’t aggressive and widespread.

I don’t know about stopping accepting and ordering. But I’d be starting to worry about receiving ANYTHING out of China soon. As in - no exports. No workers. Everything shut down.

China’s coronavirus has ‘the same death rate as Spanish flu

That article refers to rates in the UK, not globally. World wide, about 50 million died of the estimated 500 million that contracted the Spanish flu. A global death rate of about 10 percent. It was about 3 percent of the world's population, dead.
