I wonder if the Dims will be looking forward to those witnesses.
Time will tell.
Does John Bolton want The Impeachment Trial to be a stop on his book tour.
From Sundance.
There will be 24 hours of presentation by House Impeachment Managers (over 3 days); 24 hours of presentation by Defense team (over 3 days); 16 hours of Senate questioning; 4 hours of closing arguments, equally divided; and then a Senate debate/vote on further motions to include witnesses. If there are going to be witnesses, they will first be deposed prior to testimony. No witness testimony will be permitted without first being deposed.
The Senate Trial continues today on day six at 1:00pm ET. Today is the second day of the Trump defense and will continue with approximately 8 hours of presentation.

Starr needs some disco light overhead?
410-4
Nixon impeachment authorization.
Why didn’t he mention Pelosi promised a bipartisan impeachment resolution?
Is Ken Starr trying to hypnotize the Senators? Give him the hook. He is putting me to sleep and I am drinking coffee. Although I will give it to the team, Senators may be the only people who care about impeachment theory and history.
Return to tradition of impeachment as measure of last resort.
That is an important point.
The text of the constitution.
The text speaks always in terms of crimes.
Starr is making some good points now. There is no crime, high or otherwise. IMO, his trial is an exercise in futility; it is primarily just typical partisan electioneering for 2020.
Clinton: specific crimes.
Nixon: numerous crimes.
Crimes alleged in both of these.
No crimes alleged against Trump.
I’m kind of one of those “get to the point” kind of people.
This whole fiasco should have been wrapped up in two hours tops.
I know we have to give the appearance that we are considering the evidence and so on...but it’s all bogus.
How long does it take to say the evidence it all crap and the articles of impeachment are a joke.
Okay, let all vote on it.
Rant over. :)
Democracy’s Ultimate Court — Ken Starr
Both Starr and Dershowitz were poor choices for the legal team. Starr because he really is a complete mediocrity and not that good of an advocate and Dershowitz because he is a liberal Dem narcissistic dirtbag who would turn on Trump in a minute in exchange for passage on one of Epstein’s pedophile planes
Starr is pretty smart, but this is about as boring as anything I’ve ever heard.
I wish he had some energy, or named names on the other side, like the main attorneys for the president are doing.
The Rodino Rule
(He should have mentioned that Pelosi originally promised that.)
Definitely talking to Roberts on executive privilege.
