I think it’ll be 50-50. Motion will fail and Senate would then take up the articles of impeachment.
They’ll both go down 53-47 and then the court of impeachment will adjourn sine die.
Everything we’re hearing about Bolton is to sell his book. If there wasn’t a hype it wouldn’t sell..he’s just not that interesting.
Dems will get about 6-7 votes from the rinos, if not a couple more.

No - the Chief Justice has no vote and if there’s a tie, motion is considered defeated.
I agree its going to be tight.
How many times can the evil ones impeach a president? Is there a limit to this? I envision them hiring people to go thru every shred of paper to see if something is illegal in their eyes.
I think Bolton said something last night when this all was “leaked.” . It wasn’t a formal statement but he said that he had never said anything about Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainians but simply that Trump told him that he would have preferred that the Ukrainians begin the investigation before he released the money, They didn’t but he released it anyway.
A lot of this distortion comes from the NYT and subsequent media sources.
That said, the “leak” obviously had to come from the NSC, where Vindemann’s brother is employed. So how is this not both criminal and treasonous?

Good point. During an impeachment, the Chief Justice presides, not the Vice President, and does not have a vote.
