Newly-installed San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin has dropped charges against a man whom police officers shot several times last month after he allegedly struck one of them with a glass vodka bottle, ran away, then attacked again.
Rank-and-file officers are reportedly furious, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
Boudin, as Breitbart News and others have reported, is the son of two activists in the Weather Underground, which the FBI calls a domestic terrorist organization, who were getaway drivers in a 1981 armored car heist that led to the deaths of two police officers and a guard, the UK Guardian recalled.

More than 700 self-described Marxists have been elected to important public offices in recent years. We had one elected here in Riverside, CA in Ward 5. She is pure “d” SJW.

Additional information re my earlier post:
The govt hearing revealing the Communist Party USA secret membership of Leonard Boudin is “Passport Reorganization Act of 1959, Special Subcom. of the Committee of the Government Operations, US Senate, 86th Congress, First Session, on S. 2095, Aug. 26, 27 and Sept. 1, 1959. Page 312, “Leonard B. Boudin, Appellant, v. John Foster Dullers, Appellee, John Foster Dulles, Appelant (sic) v. Leonard B. Bouding, Appellee, No.s. 13130, 13031, “United States Court of Appeals, District of Columbia Circuit. Argued March 8, 1956. Decided June 28, 1958”.
Footnote 2, en toto: ‘The Secretary’s affidavit stated further:
“In light of the number of pro-Communist associations and activities of the Plaintiff over a lengthy period of time, including reliable reports as late as 1950 of actual membership in the Communist Party, I consider that these associations and activities, coupled with the Plantiff’s refusal to state under oath whether or not he has been a member of the communist Party prior to June 3, 1954, when he last received a passport, warranted me in concluding that (Italics - “he was still a supporter of the Communist movement”) and should be denied continued passport facilities under the established policy of Secretaries of State in recent years of refusing passports to supporters of the Communist movement.
“I have again reviewed the passport file of Leonard B. Boudin and I am still of the view that further passport facilities should be denied the Plaintiff as (Italics - “a person whose travel abroad will support the Communist movement.”). (Emphasis added). More information on pages 313-314.
There you have it folks. A very rare citation of Leonard Boudin, communist lawyer and father of Kathy Boudin, as a secret member of the Communist Party USA (and I would say, also a KGB asset due to his travels to communist countries and international front operations).

I dont think so. Cops know they are disliked by many and hated by some. They accept that as part of the jobI doubt many cops are willing to put up with being disliked by many and hated by some of the people who are supposed to have their backs, namely their superiors and the DA. The cops in New York hate their mayor and say so publicly. The cops in Baltimore refuse to chase criminals any more. They just stand around and collect a paycheck, unwilling to put their lives on the line for people who disrespect them. If your relative is a San Francisco cop and puts up with treatment like what the DA is doing he or she may need an intervention by people near and dear to them.

This moron needs to be told thusly: if an angry officer or member of his or her family attack you or a member of your family, we will not respond.

No, he is nowhere near SF, thank heaven! Often chiefs are political animals and are more concerned with their status than they are with supporting their officers. Sad but true.
Check out the blog Second City Cop sometime. He is a Chicago police officer. If cops are standing around and not chasing thugs, it’s because there isn’t much point in taking risks when certain groups are looking for a chance to accuse them of something and city officials, like the jerk in SF, are on the side of the criminals.

Do a ride-a-long with a local cop. You might find it interesting.

Excellent citation. Here’s a little more on Boudin from some notes I made on the FBI’s VVAW file, where Boudin comes up in relation to the National Lawyers Guild—an interesting tidbit is Boudin’s relationship to I.F. Stone:
National Lawyers Guild (NLG): Legal guild founded as liberal alternative to the American Bar Association in 1937. Founders included Senator Frank Walsh, a former lawyer for the anarchist group the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW); Morris Ernst, co-general counsel of the CP front the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) from 1929 to 1954, who secretly became an FBI informant on CP activity; Jerome Frank, who helped CP sympathizers Louis Brandeis and Felix Frankfurter staff the Roosevelt administrations Agricultural Adjustment Administration (AAA) with a group of left-wing lawyers that included future Soviet agent Alger Hiss; John Abt, a Frank appointment to the AAA who became an early leader of the same Soviet spy ring Hiss joined as well as the general counsel to the CP, the CP-infiltrated Congress of Industrial Organizations (CIO)s First Vice President Sidney Hillman, and 1948 Presidential candidate Henry Wallace; Lee Pressman, another Frank AAA appointment who became a Soviet agent and the general counsel to the CIO; New York State Senator Albert Wald, member of the American Arbitration Association and son-in-law of Kuhn Loeb Central Relief Committee treasurer Harry Fischel; and Victor Rabinowitz, a labor lawyer who joined the CP during World War II. Rabinowitzs law firm Rabinowitz, Boudin (now Rabinowitz, Boudin, Standard, Krinsky, & Lieberman), whose other senior partner Leonard Boudin was also a CP member, became the leading counsel for the CP through the NLG and the associated National Emergency Civil Liberties Committee (NECLC), cofounded by Corliss Lamont (see entry) and Boudins brother-in-law I.F. Stone (who would later appear at the VVAWs Dewey Canyon III rally). Working closely with Rabinowitz Boudin and the NECLC, and later with the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), the NLG defended accused Communists during the Cold War, and since the 1970s it has defended various terrorist clients, notoriously including 1993 World Trade Center bomb plotter Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman. In 1944 the House Un-American Activities Committee identified the NLG as a CP front, and the Attorney General subsequently attempted to designate it a Communist front in 1953, leading to five years of legal battles before the Justice Department gave up in 1958. Two years later, Rabinowitz and Boudin won a battle for legal representation of Communist Cuba and began a long-term relationship with Castros apparatus in the United States. In 1963 prominent NLG lawyer Peter Weiss (see entry) became chairman of the board of the Institute for Policy Studies, a Marxist think tank linked to Soviet and Cuban agents. In 1964 NLG lawyers in San Francisco established the Council for Justice, which later assisted the Vietnam Day Committee, a key pioneering group in the Vietnam antiwar movement. During the Vietnam War the NLG assisted draft resisters and antiwar GIs. Weiss participated in the Bertrand Russell Peace Foundations International War Crimes Tribunal (based in Stockholm, Sweden and supported by the Stockholm Conference on Vietnam, a Soviet front—see entry for World Assembly for Peace) and the VVAWs Winter Soldier Investigation and served as a lawyer for the VVAW. NLG officer Robert Drinans 1970 Congressional campaign was chaired by John Kerry before Kerry joined VVAW, and after joining VVAW Kerry continued to work with Drinan. NLG member Ramsey Clark legally represented the VVAW during Dewey Canyon III. The NLG-connected CCR defended VVAW members in the Gainesville Eight trial.
