We are about to discover just how contagious this virus is
FYI
China built a lab to study SARS and Ebola in Wuhan - and US biosafety experts warned in 2017 that a virus could ‘escape’ the facility that’s become key in fighting the outbreak
Why would the CDC purposely mislead people like this when they have to know how contagious this is and how quickly this virus has spread in China the way it has?
If Wuhan is under quarantine by Chinese gov’t how are there direct and connecting flights from Wuhan now?
For the US:
44,000 daily flights (avg)
5,000 planes in the air at any one time.
https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/by_the_numbers/
Average daily passengers in the US (2018): 2,789,971
******
That's a lot of people bouncing around and coming into contact with others.
Now consider those working at the airports.
Taxi/limo drivers.
All those 2,789,971 people leave the airports and come into contact with even more folks.
Maricopa County, AZ - Arizona State University?
Orange County, CA - University of California, Irvine?
You’d think the airlines would voluntarily stop all flights from China to the U.S. except what is considered essential flights until more is learned about this nasty cootie.
Apparently they don’t give a s**t about anything but $$.
“Guidance from the CDC advises that people who have had casual contact with the patient are at minimal risk for developing infection.”
CDC and WHO have offered nothing new since Friday.
And it was only last weekend when they were saying there was no human-human transmission.
On the other hand, China apparently believes what CDC and WHO says is unmitigated BS.

Yeah. *That* Johns Hopkins.
Read it.
And shudder. Then prep.
By fictional movie scenarios if this is the “one” (global killer),I don’t trust our society to be able to do anything about it. People want to move around and pretend there is no problem/it can’t happen to me/here. Government will be typically useless and business will do business until society collapses.
