A good reminder of what we can expect when President Trumps defense team has their first opportunity in five months to defend him. During a broadcast segment on ABC news reporters in the Capitol were interviewing President Trump defense attorney Jay Sekulow.
Back in the ABC studio, Clinton operative George Stephanopoulos did not want to see ABC broadcasting statements from the defense and he is caught on camera using hand signals to tell the producers to cut-off the broadcast. Stephanopoulos realized he was caught:
(snip) --- Shortly after 3 pm Eastern this afternoon, @AoSHQ noted Stephanopoulos was shown on camera making the slit-the-throat "kill" gesture to cut away from Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow taking press questions. These guys are NOT going to like hearing the Trump side of this trial.

Its actually worse than just a dishonest media. Once wealth redistribution becomes an option, there are just too many shameless voters who are OK with taking other peoples hard earned money, via the IRS.
The solution is not just an honest media - the solution is a voting system based on property. After all, we are mostly voting on how to spend tax money - so shouldnt the people paying taxes have more say in how to spend it than those who pay no taxes?
Every campaign season billions of dollars are “gifted” to the media.
Do you think that the media will kill that goose?
__________
That's the way it used to be.
It also used to be one vote per household. Husbands voting for the household is seen in retrospect as suppression of women, but that was not the intent.
The intent was to give property owners a say in the government. One vote per household was enough, and it was the man who happened to cast the vote on behalf of the family.
Just like in my household, its the man who takes the trash down to the curb, sets and empties the mouse traps, fixes the plumbing and changes flat tires. My wife doesnt like to do that stuff and there are lots of things I dont like to do that she handles.
