The Chinese market at the center of the deadly coronavirus outbreak sold live animals including wolf pups, foxes, rats and peacocks to eat, according to a new report.
The wild animals were among 112 items that were peddled at the Huanan Seafood Market in the central city of Wuhan, Agence France-Press reported.
Other wildlife sold at the market, which has since been shuttered, included crocodiles, giant salamanders, snakes, porcupines and camel meat.

4 legs, 3 legs, 2 legs, 1 leg, no legs.
I like shrimp...but...
“Crustacean (incl. prawns, shrimp, crabs, ...) and Hexapoda together form a monophyletic group. Crustaceans are arthropods and are therefore much more closely related to insects, molluscs and spiders.”
While we’re at it, can we please stop importing food (and meds and supplements) from this place?
Our farmers would be better off converting more of our land now used for monoculture crops we export to more diverse domestic food production. We have lured them through farm and shipping subsidies into producing food for export that is counterproductive for the American people.
Wow—a ChiCom shill here?
up to 14 cities down now plus the Forbidden Palace and Great Wall - and Disneyland -and for the first time we hear it’s possibly airborne but they’re not going to admit it yet.

Not at all.
Zhang Fei is in no way a Chinese apologist.
Years ago I was in the Cholon district of Saigon (mostly ethnic Chinese). A street vendor had a few dozen baby chicks in a cage and would grab them and plunge them live into hot oil to cook them if someone placed an order. They were held by the feet while eaten. I couldn’t take watching that and I had to walk away. I’ll bet the same thing happens in Wuhan.

Of course it is airborne. Another article said they have determined (somehow) that is is “4th Generation”.
Some guy got it from the bat.
He passed it to #2.
#2 person passed it to #3.
#3 person passed it to #4.
(I’m pretty sure I waiting in line with #4 at Costco today!)
“When Nixon first visited China I watched a documentary on the country where they stated that the Chinese will eat anything with 4 legs except a table and anything from the water except a boat, so nothing has changed.”
My Chinese wife says they will eat anything with legs except the table, anything that flies except an airplane and anything in the sea except a submarine.
Go to Tou Tube and look up “The Food Ranger” who lives there
“Yeah - he's just being an idiot. He says dark dogs taste better - but everyone knows white dogs are the best!”
“Um - this is pork, right?”
“Ha ha! Yes, is pork. But across the street is dogs for sale.”
He was on a job in the Philippines and as the guest of honor was given the honor of killing the dog for dinner. He knew it was a big deal, and probably shamed him and his hosts, but he declined. “Damned if I was going to kill some poor dog!”
+1
I heard rats, bats, snakes, some of them not fully cooked. Actually Tucker Carlson said “live”.

The more information I get about this (and I was studying SARS in real time back in the day), the more I realize that what we call “Chinese food” - isn’t.
“Greasy, grimy gopher guts...mutilated monkey meat...” I thought it was just the lyrics to a kid’s song about the school cafeteria, not a real thing.
