Merkel in Davos: 'Our mistake was not being prepared for refugee crisis'

In a wide-ranging speech at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, German Chancellor Angela Merkel admitted that Germany had made a mistake during the 2015 refugee crisis. Not, she said, by welcoming asylum-seekers fleeing conflict, but by not preparing for their arrival as civil conflicts began cropping up across the Middle East and northern Africa.

“The mistake was not to have paid attention to create an environment where people can stay in their own country,” the chancellor said.

She warned that the mistake should not be repeated with Libya, where the conflict between the UN-backed government and rival commander Khalifa Haftar is destabilizing other nearby countries like Mali and Niger.

“We have to do everything to ensure a peace process” in Libya, Merkel said, to prevent another major humanitarian crisis and refugee influx. Berlin recently hosted talks between the warring sides in Libya, which ended in an agreement to limit foreign interference and commit to a UN arms embargo. …

Of course. The push is to grab control of those navies under EU command, and consequently under the command of the Deutsches Marine.

Germany’s mistake is Merkel. They seem to have a penchant for electing leaders who wind up destroying the country. They recovered magnificently from the Hitler debacle only to (probably) being permanently unsalvageable under the commie hag Merkel. But then we should talk ...8 years of Obama.

They are not refugees.

You met the enemy. He is your own Communist leaders.

They are destroying you. Now you must fight back or die.

The refugee crisis was manufactured demographic replacement and Merkle was a co conspirator.

Recruiting and mobilizing 2-3 million people from all over the Muslim world took years of planning and on the ground organizing . The logistics were lavishly financed. The EU government officials snd media were in on the scheme and rammed it down Europe's throat.

In the run up to the 2012 election there was a guy literally running around Washington claiming there was a plot to invade the EU with 2 million Muslims refugees and force the US to accept another 250,000 per year.

He pretty much disappeared.

He was spot on, right down to the precise numbers

There was no war refugee crisis - that is the big lie.

It was an very well planned, well executed and lavishly funded invasion of EU by military age Muslim men from all over the Muslim world

They were recruited, provided with paid travel expenses, cell phones and a stipend of several thousand dollars by shadowy on the ground NGO and UN operative.

George Soros was seemingly a major player and EU pols and the Obama Admin were on boar

As idiotic as she was/is, she was far from alone in this. The German elites have all bought into this insanity of welcoming any and all the trash that washes up on their shores - and then lavishing German taxpayer money on them - for a long time. I distinctly remember having these discussions with my German professors when I was an exchange student there in the early to mid 90s.

It simply didn’t seem to dawn on them that some people are savages who are totally incompatible with Western values, that they have no skills or desire to acquire them and will simply be a huge burden on the taxpayer and will never turn into good little worker bees to help pay for all that socialism they have. Nor did it dawn on them that a lot of these people come with completely different values which, rather than adopting German values will instead try to impose their values on Germans - and who will victimize German citizens in the process......ie that they are simply complete scum and should be kept out.

Of course university profs, business elites who want more cheap labor, entertainers and politicians all have the money to insulate themselves against all the negatives that come from importing millions of feral muslims. They live in rich neighborhoods. Their kids won’t be going to school with them, etc. They can scream “racism!” at anybody who objects knowing they’ll never pay any personal cost for their virtue signalling naive idiocy and greed.

She’s the one who gave the green light to them in the first place. Without that there would be no crisis. It’s her fault.

But did they? Look into Konrad Adenauer a little deeper and his overtures towards the USSR, never mind the inspiration for their Basic Law (very socialistic; compare the Soviet one). And then there was Willy Brandt a couple of decades later. Add the influences coming from the former DDR on top of all that, and what can one expect, really?
