By not being there they just give the Left another talking point of the unfairness of it all.
It’s their Job. Just do it and get it over with.
You can’t be on a Jury and leave the Courtroom even if the Case is completely bogus. Any of us commoners would be held in Contempt if we were ten minutes late from our Lunch break.

When the senate was on break, I turned FNC on for a few minutes and happened to see my favorite communist queer, chrissy waldorfman, and he was carrying on about how many people are watching this mess.
In a nation of over 350 Million, about 11 million people were watching all of the TV channels combined.
More people watch paint dry on the home improvement channel.
I would really like to punch that chrissy right in his smarmy mouth.

Need to take him outta there in a straightjacket!

One radio commentator said that the first day of the trial attracted 11 million viewers. Ironically, the first day of the initial House inquiry attracted 13 million viewers.
No wonder the major networks are not breaking into regular programming for this fiasco.

Walked out or just in the cloak room?
At our Legislature, there is a is a backroom for the legislators.
They are probably listening at a spot shere they can move about.

I guess Mitch has a problem with enforcing the attendance policy, lol.
House managers are getting a good dose of *minority* realities (As well as MSNBC, CNN, and rest of alphabet networks) they bestowed on Repubs during their farce of the impeachment inquiry that ignored precedent.
In politics, two wrongs is just par for the course, by default, nothing is right concerning "politics".

Our guys are great but NO ONE should be forced to listen to that non-stop drivel.
We could use the tapes as a form or torture - “if you don’t tell us where the money is, we’ll make you listen to Adam Schiff and his impeachment managers”...

I’m betting that at least 20 Democrats will boycott the President’s legal teams presentation in response.

They have all likely lost the will to live at this point. Ted Cruz said by hour 23 they would all be begging for mercy. 😆

They say that the 24 hours for each side is the same as during the Clinton impeachment trial in 1999, but that in the 1999 trial each side only used about half of its allotted time.
To judge from the clips on Hannity last night, Schiff was very repetitive...who needs to hear him repeat the same lies over and over?
To: RummyChick
Just minutes later, fellow Democratic impeachment manager Rep. Jerry Nadler made a key constitutional point by playing a video clip from Sen. Lindsey Graham from the impeachment of Bill Clinton but Graham was not even in the chamber to hear it. Nadler? Nadler? Isn't he the one who said this during the XXX-42 impeachment?
"There must never be a narrowly voted impeachment or an impeachment substantially supported by one of our major political parties and largely opposed by the other. Such an impeachment would lack the legitimacy and produce divisiveness and bitterness in our politics for years to come,"
Hopefully the Republicans have the courage to play that video like Nadler did against Graham.
