One of my coworkers was hit during a shooting last year while just walking downtown. Fortunately, he made a full recovery. I don’t miss having to go into that cesspool of a city every day.

I worked for a company called Oncogen in the late 1980s in a beautiful building overlooking Puget Sound. It was at Elliot and First I think. Walked all over that area at lunchtime.

My daughter was coming out of her office on 4th and pine. Several people around her were shot. She hid behind a bus. Couldn’t get back into the building as they all went into lock down.
She said two men were shouting violently at each other when one or both pulled out semi automatic rifle/s and just shot at each other with no regard to the public. She then said they escaped by blending into the crowd in opposite directions.
She’s ok but shook up.
She said it took her 6 hours to get home. All the streets were closed. She thinks the office building she was in will be closed thru the weekend if they don’t find the shooters.
People were in a panic to get out of the way of the shooters and the homeless.

Interesting if true. Just as the dems are proposing new rifle laws. On the TV they had some witness say they heard about 6 shots. Lots of casualties for just six shots. I guess we’ll learn more as the days go on. Hopefully they catch the guys.

Just look at the black and/or lesbian female police chiefs or commissioners in major Democrat Party controlled cities over the past 10 year or so. As I recall this included San Francisco, Houston or Austin, possibly Milwaukee, possibly LA, etc.

If you buy a handgun in WA it is definitely registered with the state. Long guns require only a 4473, but for handguns a separate form with all info is sent to the state.
Our liberal Demiranian governor is responsible for this as well as the city council and mayor who hamper the cops in doing their job.
If the record of the transaction is kept long-term, and goes beyond "Is X eligible to purchase Y?", and includes information on exactly what was purchased, then it is registration.
That is true ( I think during the last 15 years or so) and I’m afraid that all semi-autos might be treated the same way since July 1, 2019.

Yes, my understanding is that post I-1639 all semi auto rifles will require the same form used for handguns.
