Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., is hypocritical in decrying the impeachment trial as unfair, Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., said Wednesday, arguing that Schiff did not allow Republicans to call witnesses during the House's proceedings.
Appearing on "Fox & Friends" with host Steve Doocy, Stefanik said that Schiff's comments on Capitol Hill Tuesday show that the Democrats' case is flimsy so they are "scrambling at this point." Schiff, the House Intelligence Committee chairman, is serving as the impeachment trial manager of the House Democrats' case.
Speaking on the Senate floor during a marathon 12-hour first day, Schiff said that if the House could neither call witnesses nor introduce documents and evidence, the impeachment trial was "not really a trial at all."

The democratic party should change their name to THE HYPOCRITE PARTY. If democrats were honest about being hypocrites, I might have some respect for them.

TALK ABOUT OBSTRUCTING JUSTICE AND INTIMIDATING WITNESSES FROM TESTIFYING-—Hillary did it all.
Hillary went hog wild with tax dollars. She set up what she called a “Bimbo Eruption Team” in the West Wing of the White House
composed of tax-paid govt workers including then-Clinton aide George Stephanopolous....now at ABC-TV.
The tax-paid West Wing office office operated for eight long years.....and did nothing but shoot down, demean, defame and lacerate any woman who dared surface about Bill’s sexual activities.
Hillary took delight in destroying women even though she knew their stories were true. (Hear that Bernie?)
These expenditures of tax dollars saved Bill’s presidency, got Hillary elected to the US Senate, and gave Hillary the prominence she needed to launch the rest of her political ambitions.
So where’s all the femiNazis? They gave Slick a pass when they should have been up in arms about boorish behavior from an alpha male, a serial predator using power over a lowly intern.....males they say they despise.
Still pending is Juanita Broderick’s petition to investigate Clinton’s sex crimes.
It has standing because Bill Clinton continues to receive federal benefits.

This guy must, I’m saying he MUST be mentally ill. There is no way that he is a perfectly sane individual.
I know that Pelosi, Schumer, Nadler etc... all of them for that matter, are speaking to extremely uninformed voters. Notice, I didn’t say uneducated.
Their commentary is filtered through the media, and presented to these people. There’s no other explanation for it.
Is it working? You bet it is. Many people, esp the low information voters, are convinced that Trump is bad news.
Complete hypocrisy is what Democrites do.

They are trying to play us. This feigned disapproval of Schiff is BS. So this is a trial balloon that sasy “Golly gee you know it wasn’t fair not to give Republicans witnesses” so let them have them now which by the way would mean the rats would get their Trump assassin whiteness So they send out this woman who betrayed her district to criticize little Schiff and run this scam. And FNC just gets used.It’s just an insult.
I continue to be amazed when people are surprised that skunks stink. Why even pretend that Schiff is - or can be - anything but a congenital liar?
Great comments. We know that Dems are grandstanding and lying through their teeth. But for the others who have regular jobs and check their morning paper (on line or at the door), or morning TV for the weather while drinking their coffee, they see the bullsh*t put out by the national media and can't help believing that Trump is the worst dictator since Fidel Castro or Saddam Hussein.And I don't know how we can get around this.
Looked up Rep. Elise Stefanik. Youngest ever elected to Congress until the loathsome Ilhan Omar. Youngest Republican ever elected.
She hung Schiff out to dry this morning on Fox. Otherwise, a squishy moderate on most issues except impeachment.
What a joke that a 12-hour day sitting in a conference is considered a marathon. Just shows how out-of-touch elites (media, politicians) are with real America. I know lots of people who work 12 hours on a regular basis and I was one of them up until a couple of years ago.
