It is clear that China is now the new great colonial power; albeit mostly via economic colonialism, rather than necessarily some late Victorian model. Whether it is its virtual vulture capitalist snatching up of numerous European corporations during the crisis of the Great Recession, or the more subtle method of gaining ground via real estate or business investments in countries like Australia, Canada, and, to perhaps a lesser extent, the USA, or its growing influence over Hollywood’s movie industry, China has moved into a position of increased dominance throughout the world.
Yet, it is its growing influence in Africa that concerns us here. Again, unlike much of the earlier European iteration of colonialism, China has deftly used economics as its primary tool so far, but this might be about to change as well.
For well over a decade now, China has been becoming the dominant non-African player in multiple nations on that continent. Ostensibly offering help in the form of credit to beleaguered corporations and whole industries, in relatively short order, the specific Africans receiving this purported aid find themselves in financial dire straits.
Once they realize they are unable to meet their obligations, the Chinese government (whether it happens to be specifically by them or some government-owned or regulated corporation) swoop in like a gallant white knight offering to save the day by offering to forgive the existing loan in exchange for full control of said industry by the Chinese in place of whichever African company or government previously had it.

The best strategic strategy for the USA would be to let China get tied down, and pour its treasure into, the dismal swamp that is Africa.

China DGAF about the fee fees of people who whine about colonialism.
They will kill and slaughter all the Africans they need to. hell I wouldn’t be surprised if they tell their citizens:
“You can have all the children you want as long as you stay in Africa”
China is watching what is happening in the west in terms of mass migration and taking notes...

China has such influence in our colleges, and they have proven they can control information in their own country... I can see them “Yellow Washing” any activity in Africa as “China doing good that the west could never do in Africa” and pictures of smiling African children singing to Chinese troops.
They will even use it as a cudgel to attack the west.
Because we are too soft hearted and too dumb to know any better as a culture.

There have been countries that could not pay their debts already. The Chicoms have a pre-agreement (contracts) with these countries to allow the Chinese to take control of some important resource if the debts aren’t paid — Ports, railways, etc.
The question becomes — what happens if some African country votes in someone like Hugo Chavez who decides to NATIONALIZE everything and repudiate all contracts?

The Chinese can now harvest all the sexual aphrodisiacs from the animals at will. What a shame! With some luck, perhaps these Chinese barbarians will bring back some ebola to “thin out the herd” over there!

The Chinese may actually succeed. They are not as morally burdened by “human rights”, NGOs, and bleeding hearts as we in the west were.
The Chinese will not care who calls them racists. They also have plenty of people, so rather than using black workers, they can send over a few million Chinese.
