I disagree.
Communism is now a form of fascism. Both work with the means of production, both are philosophically about ruling through force and intimidation, both are oligarchs,
the essentially are the same, in the end. And calling a communist a fascist, is not only true, but it riles them.

I guess you’ve not read Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, The Psychology of Mass Fascism or any other definitive work on Communism and Fascism, but are making it up as you feel it should be (from your abbreviated, simplified, and self-made definitions), not as it actually is.
Calling a Communist a Fascist is a philosophical fallacy, but it does rile them because Hitler betrayed Stalin - it’s as simple as that. Else you misread your history. Not sure how much of the 20th century you missed, maybe all of it, if you are young enough.
Right now we are witnessing the rise of the Communist revolutionary vanguard in Bernie Sanders and his professional campaign workers.
