The cold didn’t stop thousands from marching, chanting, and raising signs high for women’s rights on January 18. See photos from the 2020 Women’s March, taken around the country.
And we’re off! For the fourth year in a row, people of all genders gathered around the world for the Women’s March. It’s a tradition that began in 2017, when more than four million people hit the streets in cities around the world to peacefully protest on the day after President Donald Trump‘s inauguration. The protestors had certain goals in mind: rally against pay disparity, homophobia, racism, religious persecution, and gender inequality, and fight for women’s reproductive. It’s now 2020, and the goals haven’t changed, but the message has gotten stronger: we will not be silent when it comes to telling the people in charge that they need to act now.
The 2020 Women’s March was held on January 18, and while there weren’t as many protestors as that groundbreaking first year, hundreds of thousands of proud demonstrators still showed out across the United States, in cities like Washington, DC, New York City, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. The reach wasn’t as widespread globally, but thousands did march in Germany, Belgium, Spain, Nigeria, India, and New Zealand. As always, the protestors put in some excellent sign-making work. One sign in particular read, “Earth to Trump Climate Change Is Real” next to a pained photo of our planet while another one was simple yet bold in its approach: “Keep Calm and Empower Women.”

They had one for three years here, did not bother this year.
Lack of interest, or the bull dyke that was a major organizer moved away, no idea. Too bad, I liked driving by with a MAGA sign taped to my side window.

Oh yes vulgar women all over the place. And no razors allowed.
Feminism has almost entirely been a purely western and largely middle-to-upper class white woman movement. These women have VERY little concern or care for oppressed women in developing countries. And Christianity is the only religion they consider their enemy. They will go out of their way to avoid criticizing Islam for the exact same things they attack Christianity for.
I guess the left’s love of multiculturalism is more important than their love for universal gender equality since they refuse to extend their feminism past their own culture.
Meanwhile Cuomo and deblasio and other rat state law makers have changed the bail laws allowing rapists and murderers do free. where are the protest there?
The fact that the “environment” was a focus showed this was just the annual meeting of the “angry losers of 2016” - and Dems should take heed: There are A LOT LESS women showing up now.
Many of the 2016 group are three years older, and better off than they were three years ago; once Trump didn’t outlaw abortion or outlaw homosexuality, they accepted that they’d been deceived by the leftist elites and moved on.
White women with 401Ks are voting for Trump; those with defined benefit pensions instead (public school teachers) will vote for the Democrat.
And just want can’t women do in America?
What rights are being deprived? What do they want?
Well, the left is trying to piggyback climate change with social justice.
Look at the Green New Deal. Majority of it is social justice reform and not really climate change.
Their dream is to essentially reform and remake the country and its economy to halt climate change. BUT to remake it in such a way to solve social and economic inequalities in regards to race and gender. They think this is a golden opportunity to do that since so much money would be moved (redistributed).
In other words they think they can kill two birds with one stone.
If women want love, not hate, then why are they attending an event organized by a nasty antisemite?
They think if they can sell you that line of bullstalin they can sell you anything.
The issue is never the issue.
Apparently they couldn’t event protest #MeToo without it blowing up in their faces.
All of those prominent speakers like the Judd girl who attacked Trump as a sexual harasser and said nothing at the 2017 rallies about Harvey Weinstein.
They are not principled at all. Feminazis will sell out their sisters at every turn for personal wealth and political power.
I wouldn’t call it “social justice” by any stretch; it is simply wealth transfers from whites and Asians to blacks and Hispanics - with no stipulation that the funds aren’t used to buy fleets of SUVs. It is ALL about the wealth transfers; the rest of the language is just cover.
