President Trump on Tuesday confirmed he plans to expand his controversial travel ban that bars citizens of certain countries from entering the United States.
Trump told The Wall Street Journal in an interview on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, that he is looking to add more countries, though he would not say which ones.
The president's comments confirm an Associated Press report from earlier this month.
Multiple media outlets reported that seven countries are being considered to be covered by the travel ban, including Belarus, Burma, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria, Sudan and Tanzania.
Any additions or alterations to the travel ban would draw immediate legal challenges.

Ban citizens of Seattle, San Francisco and New York City from traveling to the rest of the United States.

The case was already decided and President Trump won.
<>The proposal drew nationwide protests at airports and other public places from critics who decried it as Islamophobic.<>
Nonsense, but for the sake of argument, what’s the Constitutional basis to oppose Islamophobia?
HA HA!!!
Ban travel for the whole damn world, and just lift one country at a time, as they comply and meet standard.
Ban citizens of the west coast, NY, and New England from traveling to the United States.
What about Nigerian princes bringing suitloads of cash to people in the US who responded to their email offers?
So Canadians shouldn’t be able to cross the border until Canada meets what standard exactly?
Belarus? Nearly everyone there is an ethnic Russian from a Russian Orthodox background. I dont think they have more than a handful of Muslims. Theyre still living like its the Soviet Union, but thats another matter.
Well, yeah.

How about Saudi Arabia, their best and brightest seem to shoot up our men.
For starters, a country that has a fairly large segment of its citizens who consider America as The Great Satan should definitely be heavily scrutinized. Canadians may be fairly quick to make snide remarks about America, but they aren’t, for the most part, considered an enemy.
How about banning travel from Sweden by obnoxious blond teens?
