From my teen years I don’t recall whether “The Coming Ice Age,” or “Chariots of the Gods” took center stage at bull sessions.

That was proven to not be one.
The Coming Ice Age was all the big rage with my age group back then (late 20’s).
I lived at an altitude that was very cold in the winter (4 to 6 feet of powder snow per storm), laughed like hell watching all those idiots spend all their money on what they thought was arctic cold weather gear and freeze dried supplies.
Knew the coming ice age was BS then, just like extreme warming is now.
Actually we are do for a new Ice Age, it just takes thousands of years to be noticeable.
And now I live at an even higher altitude, and farther north than I did back then (early 70’s).
