It is really speeding up.
Someone tell Anne.
This does not include the Private Wall now underway in Mission, Texas; that itself is going faster than a mile a week.
576 miles of wall will make a big difference.
Winning!
Thanks for posting this.
“576 miles of wall will make a big difference.”
Yes indeed.
The Defense Department is currently reviewing a formal request to fund 309 additional miles out of their FY 2020 budget (no doubt coordinated well in advance). That review is scheduled to complete at the end of next week (31 Jan).
If approved (little doubt), it will bring the total number of funded miles in the pipeline up to a whopping 885!
That gets us into the ballpark of all the barrier really need for full operational control of the Southern Border, given the technology and additional personnel requested.
The technology (”Virtual Fence”) is rolling out like gangbusters this year as well.

Three cheers for the Red, White, and Blue
The Wall is a one time fee of a mere $25 billion, which democrats scream about- claiming it costs too much
However, illegals are costing this country between $400 and $600 BILLION Dollars every single year- when all the costs are estimated together, including not just direct costs, but indirect costs as well
BUILD THE WALL liberals and shut up about $25 Billion- kick out the illegals, no matter what the cost is- that is chicken feed compared to what we are spending on illegals now every single year!- We’ll save $25 billion alone in just a 1/2 month or so!
This time last year I was having to explain it was feasible to build the wall.
I think thats a lot clearer today.
“The Wall is a one time fee of a mere $25 billion”
It is shaping up that around $12 billion will be put on contract this year alone!
$1.4 billion was appropriated for FY 2020.
$3.6 billion from last year’s Military Construction accounts was held up by Court order, but released this month.
$7.2 billion from this year’s Military budget is under review, with a decision due next Friday (31 Jan).
This will be a year of Wall System construction, the likes of which we have never seen before.
Leftists heads HAHA!!
“I think thats a lot clearer today.”
Visible from Outer Space.
(unless you’re a liberal, or Ann Coulter - but perhaps I repeat myself)
Trump doing his part to limit the new dem voters.
Now, empower ICE to empty the country of the criminal illegals.
Good job Jill !
There are large stretches that are unprotected. Will the cartels start building roads to that area?
Areas without walls will have to be protected by other means. At least it won’t be the entire border. If the cartels build roads, at least we will know where they intend to enter.
Parts of the border are natural shear rock face where a man-made wall is not necessary.
With billions at stake, you
can bet the farm that the
cartels will circumvent any
barrier or policy we have in
place. They’re quicker to react
than our government is, and
without a doubt, have lots of
support from this side of the
border. Those shooting up on
San Franciscos’ sidewalks will
barely see a disruption.
With a capable 4x4 or boat, airplane,
or tunnel, any section of border
is accessable. It’s the accepted
level of defense that will stop
the flow. How nasty do we have
to get is the question.
Execute drug dealers at all levels, from street to kingpin. Go all "Clear and Present Danger" on the cartel bosses; we know who they are and where they live. Their families and staff will have to be collateral damage.
