Trump warns of 'attack' on 2nd Amendment ahead of Virginia gun rights rally

President Trump on Friday warned of an “attack” on the Second Amendment after Virginia Democrats curtailed access for firearms at the state capitol.

“Your 2nd Amendment is under very serious attack in the Great Commonwealth of Virginia. That’s what happens when you vote for Democrats, they will take your guns away. Republicans will win Virginia in 2020. Thank you Dems!” Trump tweeted.

Your 2nd Amendment is under very serious attack in the Great Commonwealth of Virginia. That’s what happens when you vote for Democrats, they will take your guns away. Republicans will win Virginia in 2020. Thank you Dems!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 17, 2020 ADVERTISEMENT The tweet comes after state legislators voted last week to ban firearms at the state Capitol and Gov. Ralph Northam (D-Va.) declared a state of emergency to temporarily ban individuals from carrying weapons on its grounds.

Both moves came before a gun rights rally planned for next week that is expected to draw armed protesters and a mass of counter-protesters, raising fears of clashes between the two crowds.

Northam said in his statement declaring the emergency that his office had received credible intelligence of “threats of violence” surrounding the demonstration that included “extremist rhetoric” similar to that surrounding the deadly Unite the Right white supremacist rally in Charlottesville in 2017.

The Virginia Citizens Defense League, the organizers of the rally, has said that the demonstration will draw thousands to the area. The group's Facebook event page indicates that more than 5,000 say they will attend.

"We support citizens’ rights to peacefully protest and express their views to their elected officials," said Northam. "But we must also keep the public, as well as those who work around Capitol Square, safe."

Buy weapons and ammo, folks. The 2nd amendment was put into the bill of rights exactly because of the type of people who join the democrat party. They want to control and inevitably kill you.

“1st Amendment Right of Assembly MUST be violated to deny toy guns to fun loving people.”

Time for a Gettysburg reenactment at the Virginia State Capitol

Does history repeat itself?

Per Wiki..

Ives, 1865)
Richmond, Virginia, served as the capital of the Confederate States of America for almost the whole of the American Civil War. It was a vital source of weapons and supplies for the war effort, and the terminus of five railroads.

The Union made many attempts to invade Richmond. In the Peninsula Campaign of 1862, General George McClellan moved up the James River, almost to the suburbs of the city, but was beaten back by Robert E. Lee in the Seven Days Battles. In 1864-5, General U.S. Grant laid siege to nearby Petersburg, whose evacuation by Lee caused the government to flee the capital, which the retreating Confederates left in flames.

After a long siege, Grant captured Petersburg and Richmond in early April 1865. As the fall of Petersburg became imminent, on Evacuation Sunday (April 2), President Davis, his Cabinet, and the Confederate defenders abandoned Richmond and fled south on the last open railroad line, the Richmond and Danville.

The retreating soldiers were under orders to set fire to bridges, the armory, and supply warehouses as they left. The fire in the largely abandoned city spread out of control, and large parts of Richmond were destroyed, reaching to the very edge of Capitol Square mostly unchecked. The conflagration was not completely extinguished until the mayor and other civilians went to the Union lines east of Richmond on New Market Road (now State Route 5) and surrendered the city the next day. Union troops put out the raging fires in the city. The event became known as the Evacuation Fire. The occupation was overseen by General Godfrey Weitzel and later General Edward Ord.

President Lincoln, who had been visiting General Grant and staying nearby at City Point, toured the fallen city (April 4–7) by foot and carriage with his young son Tad, and visited the former White House of the Confederacy and the Virginia State Capitol.

About one week after the evacuation of Richmond, General Robert E. Lee surrendered to Grant on April 9 ending the Battle of Appomattox Courthouse.

The problem is, Lincoln was assassinated that same week.

Hmm...the order of battle for Monday is,

Enemy forces: Gov. Babykiller, state police, Antifa, the media. National Guard checkmated by POTUS.

Friendly forces: VCDL, Patriots, deployed social media, and PRESIDENT TRUMP!!

No strategist here, but I agree with those who say avoid the trap, disperse, surround but not enter the kill zone, and call for an alternate rally location.

Someone here had a great idea: announce a BBQ & rally five miles distant from the state capitol, and dare Antifa to show up.

Inside the kill zone the police will practice selective enforcement against Patriots as in C’Ville and Portland.

At a remote site the enemies’ plans become moot and they are forced to charge en masse, which without police protection can be dealt with.

That wimpy little pile of dog crap Blackface Northam has used the stupidest cliche yet again:

Ann Coulter, Ben Shapiro and other conservatives had college campus riots and nighttime window breaking and burning cars greet them when they tried to schedule speeches. The screamers’ waved placards proclaiming “No Room on Campus for Hate. Love Trumps Hate.” The college adminstrators, leftists all, declared “We have uppermost in our responsibilities the safety of our students. Thus we are rescinding the permit to speak on campus.”

That will again be used to deny President Trump and his campaigners a venue (violent clashes cause GOP to rethink campaign stops again).

Northam is never worried about the good people of Virginia being in danger——only in making political points for himself and saving his own scrawny rear end.

and dare Antifa to show up.

The timid azzholes cowering behind masks will not arrive there any more than if Ilhan Omar got an engraved invitation to a pig roast.

He is paid too much for being their "resident idiot." They have enough on TV news already.

An extensive independent 207 page report on the 2017 Charlottesville march which concluded that law enforcement had incited the violence as it obviously did.

https://www.policefoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Charlottesville-Critical-Incident-Review-2017.pdf

This thing is setting up as Charlottesville 2, Electric Boogaloo.

There’s a lot that could go wrong and very little that can be accomplished if everything goes right. What has been happening in VA and spreading is great, and this march is a perfect opportunity for the Deep State to cut it off at its inception. The only good thing that might come of it is that a few older conservatives might begin to realize that the country they grew up in doesn’t exist anymore. Nor worth it.

Those insects here in VA who are planning some type of a event which is by definition a military terrorist type action. Who deals with situations like that?

My advice would be to ring the controlled area, do not go in.

It might be interesting to fill the sky with camera-equipped R/C drones from outside the controlled perimeter, too - have look at those building rooftops and such.

Its a set up—provoke them when people die—Blame the White power people (set up operatives disguised to talk some weak minded person to doing some horrible act—Then swoop in and change the rights and laws of the land. This Charleston Church shooting and CSA Flag. After that the statues came tumbling down and Trump called a racist. Is about getting Trump and turning Virginia into California East.
