Guess she’d rather see the passengers become crispy critters if something went wrong on the landing. It’s unfortunate that it dumped over the school, but the pilot made the right decision.

As if any airline would intentionally have a flight emergency. A minor inconvenience to a few folks on the ground to save the lives of a few people in the air, and NOBODY got hurt, but “somebody has to pay”.
I do try to not hate, but folks like her make it difficult.
Sadly the pilots that dumped their fuel did not know their plane. Boeing specs say that the plane could land without dumping fuel. That it would not be too heavy for the design of the plane.
One more than one occasion I’ve taken some straight Jet-A, splashed all over my soft pink body. I just washed it off. After 30 years, no side effects.

I’m unfortunately in So Cal so I have seen this press conference all day. Move over Merrill Steep, these “women” were well rehearsed / scripted by their Lawyers including (of course) Gloria Allred. Rather disgusting actually.
