A diverse gathering of pro-gun protestors set to descend upon Virginias capital on Monday could include an unlikely ally, a local antifa group.
In what Vice called a bizarre meeting of the minds, Richmond-based Antifa Seven Hills also strongly opposes the gun measures now likely to become law since Democrats won control of both Virginia houses last year, and they too want Democratic leaders in Richmond to know.
I think its been pretty important for us to focus on the fact that gun control in America has a legacy of racist enforcement, an Antifa Seven Hills spokesperson called James, a self-identified anarchist who withheld his real name for fear of getting doxxed, told Vice. Like taking guns away from black people, because black people were perceived as a threat to property and the sanctity of the state.
This is our fight as much as anyone elses, James continued. Its our state, and we are left largely out of the debate. The presence of an armed left is not discussed, its not understood.

I am honestly not sure what to make of this. It is extremely rare when both left and right unite to protect our rights. Except ANTIFA loves to turn protests into near riots, then blame everyone else for the violence they started.
The conservative pro-2A people definitely need to keep their distance and have video cameras running when ANTIFA is around.
And what if — unbelievable as this may sound — they’re actually sincere about supporting the Second Amendment?
I know the old line about politics making strange bedfellows, but Antifa and Patriots on the same side, on even one issue?
Hard to wrap one’s brain around.
Obviously, they should be avoided as likely provocateurs. If they’re sincere, they can be sincere enough to protest on their own.
After all there are a lot more Patriots than Antifas.
Much like when we allied with Russia against the Nazis.
A treacherous partner.
Anfifa is going to pick a fight with the protesters to produce videos of violence which the media will use to smear 2A patriots.
If I were making the call I’d cancel the whole thing. It’s turning into a trap. Better off to borrow a page from Antifa’s playbook and start showing up on legislators’ front lawns.
I’ll bet the gov didn’t disarm antifa-
Bull Bleep.
I trust Antifa as far as I could throw Michael Moore.
They have an alternative purpose. Probably to start some stuff and then blame it on 2A advocates.
it’s a trap
They’ll be there to instigate not support.
“A friend like that, who’d kill your brother
Forget that friend and find another
One of your own kind
Stick to your own kind!”
The Russians allied with the Nazis first
Never trust Soros, Romney or their terrorists.
NEVER!!
If I were making the call Id cancel the whole thing. Its turning into a trap. Better off to borrow a page from Antifas playbook and start showing up on legislators front lawns.
And dont leave out the governor’s place.
Not so unbelievable. They want to keep their weapons. They don't necessarily want you to keep yours.
I have seen a number of Antifa types at local gun ranges in the past two years. They used to "show colors" (T-shirts, hats, emblems, swagger). Lately there are not so many and they are much more discreet. They were serious and dedicated in their training.
Everybody is very polite. I am sure that everybody has a plan.
Conservative groups would be wise to keep significant distance between themselves and Antifa, or Antifa’s violence and destruction will be blamed on them...
They banned sticks, bats, chains, locks, projectiles, face masks, and riot shields.
So pretty much every weapon the antifa have used.
This will shred their credibility totally.
And Matt Bracken was RIGHT AGAIN!!
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the face.
You:
And what if unbelievable as this may sound theyre actually sincere about supporting the Second Amendment?
Me:
Yes... the key word here is ‘THEY’RE’.
There may be infiltrators in BOTH groups.
All it takes is ONE shot (from either side)to start a war.
