In what is rapidly turning into one of the most bizarre developing stories in baseball history, a Twitter account alleging to be the niece of Carlos Beltran is beginning to drop some of the most profound bombshells the MLB has ever seen.
A day after saying her uncle was stepping down as Mets manager a full 24 hours before the news of Beltrans actual resignation officially broke, the mysterious account is now allegeding that Houston Astros superstars Jose Altuve and Alex Bregman wore devices that buzzed on their shoulders, that were controlled by a hallway video guy who was already deciphering the signs of Houston opponents in real time.

While the rest of the MLB teams relied on scouts in the bleachers with binoculars and cell phones........

“The catcher needs to know what is coming. There would be 20+ Wild pitches a game if the catcher had to guess”
From a better than average HS Catcher on a very successful Championship Team, THANK YOU. It doesn’t matter whom calls the pitch, but the Catcher has to know what is coming. Pitchers and Catchers whom are familiar with each other get into a rhythm and Pitchers don’t brush off the pitch much wanting to throw something else. Obviously its easier for the Catcher to give the sign (hide) with his hand in his crotch but center field cameras have become the problem especially if the feed isn’t delayed by 5 or ten seconds which I’m sure wasn’t the case for the cheating Astros and Red Sox.
Lying, cheating criminals have infiltrated all aspects of the republic, including politics.
No justice, no America. The honest, hard-working American has no hope in a CRIMINAL STATE.
If you are fortunate enough to make it to birth, you and your kids and grandkids become indebted tax slaves to the CRIMINALS until the day that you die...and beyond.
I DID NOT pledge allegiance to the United Criminals of America.
What? I think you are confused.
It's kinda funny to see how people with little baseball knowledge perceive the game. Pros make the game look so easy. People can't imagine how difficult it is to catch 98 MPH heat mixed in with 72 MPH curves and other off speed pitches. Third baseman stand there and snag balls going 110 mph turn and throw 90+ MPH over to first and make it look easy. Pro baseball players are on a completely different level of athleticism.
Vibrating buttplugs would be more difficult to see.
The catcher needs to know what kind of pitch is coming....
I think you are referring to the manager sending in signs to the hitter, not the catcher.
sure,, like in a poker game reading tells.. perfectly legal and part of the game.. this is like having a secret camera behind other players watching their cards and relaying the info to the cheating player
All I can say is I hope this is not true but it would be a weird thing to just make up. If they were wearing buzzers baseball has a huge problem. It’s one thing to steal signs and bang on a trash can but the hitter wearing a wire is flat out fraud and real quick gets into nullifying the world series win territory. This would hurt baseball for decades to come.

Especially since the Lying Kenyan Usurper. Along with his new bestie W. who crashed the thing in the first place.
what difference would a buzzer make?
I mean ‘hit the ball’ seems obvious.
For that matter I’ve never understood ‘signals’... ‘run to the next base’ seems obvious too...
what am I not getting?
Signals whether it’s going to be a curve, slider, low, etc.
Probably a combination of buzzes.
Major league teams would need to carry 20 catchers on their rosters to make it through a season if the catcher didn’t know what pitch was coming at him.
Why prestigious chess matches are heavily scrutinized and tech/wireless wemonitored. Suddenly a 1600 rated player is consistently defeating GMs.
Rose goes in the front, big guy...
I'm not sure what you are asking. The buzzer would directly communicate to the hitter what pitch was coming. This is a huge unfair advantage. Part of the problem with stealing signs and it actually giving an advantage is getting the information to the hitter quickly. When you introduce electronics like a buzzer you may as well have a headset in the batting helmet. With a buzzer there is little chance of miscommunication and the hitter would receive the information with plenty of time to prepare. It's cheating on a level that IMO would be considered fraud.
does that make sense?
I will add, if you are not a baseball fan that the deception of pitches is one of the main tools the pitcher has in his favor. The best hitters in baseball can only get a base hit about one out of 3 times to the plate. Now let the hitter know positively in advance what pitch is coming and those odds would change dramatically.
It changes the dynamics of the guessing game to "can I hit this pitcher on this pitch" which can easily and just as quickly turn into, "I'm 1M in debt to a bookie and if I screw up this game enough where the bookie makes his spread, I'm out of my debt." - aka throwing baseball games, just like the Black Sox scandal a century ago.
It gives the hitter a distinct advantage at the plate, knowing what is coming - and when to swing and when to hold off.
