My undergrad degree is in history. From an early age, I took as many history classes as I could in the public school system and then in college. I was repeatedly taught about Marxism. Some of my teachers didn’t like it — but they taught it because it was an important historical topic. Other teachers did like it and they taught the topic as a swell idea which would eventually save us all. So, whether Good or Bad, you just had to be educated about Marxism.

At a pretty early age, I noticed that Fascism was NEVER taught. No one touched it. No one explained it. It was, in its time, very influential. Some perfectly normal people liked it in the 1920s and 1930s.

I always wondered why Fascism The Great Evil was NEVER taught and Marxism was always taught. It seems pretty obvious to me now that both are Collectivist philosophies that are prone to kill millions of people. Really not a great deal of difference between the two. And THAT is why they won’t educate people about Fascism: it gives the game away.

But Marxism, of course, needs to be taught, because it will certainly work wonders next time — as long as the right people are in charge ...
